Has the world suddenly split into four? Keiwa Sakurai, Neon Kurama, Michinaga Azuma, and Tsumuri are flung into different worlds. And for some reason, a different Ace exists in each of the four worlds. The cause seems to be from the "World Doomsday Game" started by the staff from the future. On an isolated island in July, 1999, little Kappei and other young boys are trained in martial arts mukaisappuken by their master. Their goal is to save mankind from the end of the world, which was predicted by Nostradamus.

In 2022, the planet has not been destroyed. Their master gathers Kappei and the other trainees. He decides to disband the group and instructs them to disperse. Kappei goes to the peaceful modern city Tokyo.

A comedy based on Hiroyuki Ohashi's manga "ZOKKI A" and "ZOKKI B", co-directed by Naoto Takenaka, Takayaki Yamada, and Takumi Saitoh, who are among Japan's leading actors and creators.

Jinga Mikage, a member of the Makai Knights known as the Shining Shadow Knight Roze, alongside his partner Fuusa, and his younger brother Touma, fight against Horrors, demon spirits which take control of people who have a dark inner self. Although Zinga is a great Makai Knight, he has been trauma-ridden after a certain incident occurs to his family. These events lead to his hesitation in striking down a Horror who was once a human. Around the time the atmosphere in the world is filled with cheer in preparation for Christmas, there are people completely detached from the gaiety with which Christmas Eve is eagerly anticipated. Some 20 days to Christmas, Daiwa Shunsuke and Orihara Shuko, a former couple who work at a children’s apparel company, learns that it will cease business at Christmas. With even its adjoining after-school care centre being shut down, Shuko decides to return to Niigata. Tadokoro Kohei, an elementary school boy who goes to the centre, is distressed by his parents. They are close to divorce and he wants to do something. He asks with Shuko to go with him to the Yokohama osteopathic clinic where his father works, but encounters debt-collecting gangsters over there. These gangsters are kindhearted small-timers who have descended into the underworld business although not by choice. The three groups seek love, get betrayed and have troubles. Even so, they struggle hard in their attempt to take a step out. Will the former couple be able to convey the love they have for each other? Can the boy prevent the divorce of his parents and protect his family? Will the small-time gangsters be able to hold on to love and tread the respectable path? These three groups somehow get entangled in this story with laughter and tears. Will Christmas miracles happen?

In the midst of all that, a murder case arises and the Red Venus is seen as reponsible for it. While attending school, they continue on with their investigations! The story revolves around Take Seiji, who quits his job after three months. With no dreams, no savings, and a poor relationship with his family, he becomes a hikikomori. However, after his mother falls ill with depression, he ends up having to take on a part-time job at a construction site. Because of that, he soon decides to work towards rebuilding his life: "Even though I'm just a freeter, I'm going to buy a house for the sake of my family." One of the people he meets at the construction site is Chiba Manami, who graduated from a top-class university and joined a well-known general contracting firm. Manami is the complete opposite of Seiji. But while their personalities clash at first, they gradually come to understand each other.

It started with a misunderstanding. Komatsubara Hishiko suspects her husband, Mugitaro, to be having an affair with one of his young staff at the office. Thinking to confront the lady, Hishiko goes to her husband's office, but then something strange happened! Hishiko and the young lady, Yamagishi Hoshimi, swapped bodies. So, from a 39 year old housewife prone to anxiety attacks and day-dreaming, Hishiko is now a 20 year old Office Lady (OL). On the other hand, Hoshimi, who tends to speak her mind freely, finds herself in the role of wife and mother. In Hoshimi's body, Hishiko gets to see her husband at work for the first time and starts to appreciate and respect him. As she rediscovers her husband's charm points, will it help her to fall in love all over with him again?! 

New student Kanji transfers to 6th grade 2 class, where Ayami Mutoi (Keiko Kitagawa) works as the homeroom teacher. Students begin to talk among themselves that they have seen new transfer student Kanji in a dream. Yuiko Koto (Manatsu Kimura) also had a night mare. In her nightmare, a boy that looks transfer student Kanji appeared as a prince. Ayami Mutoi tries to keep that to herself. She actually likes the prince in her dream.

Bem, Bella and Bello are ugly monsters that are neither human nor animals, but they are peace-loving, righteous heroes who feel compelled to help humans in trouble. Because they are monsters, they are feared and detested by humans, and on top of that, pursued by the police. However, a friendship develops between them and a detective by mere accident. Through their contact with humans, Bem, Bella and Bello's earnest wish to become human grow increasingly stronger. They battle evil for the sake of mankind, in the belief that they will be able to become humans one day.

Mikoto Saijou was born with a heart disorder - the two great vessels to his heart were crossed. At the ago of 10, Mikoto Saijou underwent a complicated surgery procedure performed by the great pediatric heart surgeon Dr. Mamoru Shindo at the Saihama Medical University Hospital to overcome his heart disorder. As a young adult, Mikoto Saijou was inspired by the work of Dr. Mamoru Shindo and, from that moment on, decided to become the greatest pediatric surgeon the world has ever known.

Takenouchi plays an aquarium employee named Kengo, who seems ordinary at first glance but actually possesses a secret that he would sacrifice everything in order to protect. Meanwhile, Ueto plays Risa, a young woman working in the sex trade in order to pay off her brother's debt, though her situation has led her to contemplate suicide. These two characters, both full of despair, meet each other and end up entering a contract marriage purely for its benefits. However, as they overcome various troubles, their relationship begins turning into true love.

Abe plays the single Takagi Mamoru, an employee at a stationery maker. He ends up becoming the guardian of his deceased friend's twin children, played by Ashida and actor Suzuki Fuku. The show is primarily a home drama about the three of them gradually becoming a family, but it also contains an element of fantasy, as the two kids find a dog that can speak (played by a male Miniature Schnauzer).
