Arjun and Anu are fraternal twins who manage to run a scam in the US from India via a call center. With police officer Kumar hot on their heels, will they manage to escape the system?

Aditya Arunachalam, the Commissioner of Mumbai Police, is seen killing numerous gangsters across Mumbai in police encounters. His reckless behavior has become the target for widespread criticism and condemnation. His actions finally prompt the National Human Rights Commission of India to take action against him.

In a flashback, Aditya is assigned to take charge as the Commissioner of Police of Mumbai, in a bid by the police department to curb rampant drug-trafficking and prostitution in the city. He arrives in Mumbai with his daughter Valli to assume his new position. Upon arrival, he rescues three women, one of whom is the daughter of the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra. He immediately initiates a major campaign to curb drugs and prostitution, using the situation of the kidnapped women as a catalyst. In the process, he apprehends Ajay Malhotra, who is responsible for the abduction and abuse of minors under the influence of drugs. Ajay is the son of Vinod Malhotra, an influential industrialist, who becomes enraged at his son's arrest.

Later, under Aditya's directive, the police go to the prison where Ajay is incarcerated, in order to take video evidence of his imprisonment. However, when the video is shown to Aditya, a proxy is seen in his place. Having foreseen this, Aditya requests the Central Government to investigate, which is denied. He then requests the State High court to intervene. The State high court forms a special team of higher officials, who also certify that Ajay is inside the prison. Through a covert investigation, Aditya learns that Ajay is hiding in Thailand. He has the Royal Thai Police arrest Ajay on the charges of illegally entering Thailand under a fake passport and begins the formal diplomatic process to have him repatriated. Ajay is arrested in Bangkok by Thai police. Adhitya tells Vinod to use the Indian government's diplomacy to free Ajay, and Ajay is released. As per the plan, Adhitya visits Nasik the same day, and kills Ajay's proxy under the pretext of self-defense and declares that "Ajay's" body will be revealed to the public in 4 hours. Desperate to avoid public shame and prison, with no other alternative, the corrupt officials have Ajay brought to the prison and promptly executed, much to Vinod's helplessness. At Ajay's funeral, Vinod reveals that Ajay is not his biological son, but of Hariharan 'Hari' Chopra, a notorious mafia boss and international drug lord, infamously known for killing 15 policemen in a brutal massacre 27 years prior.

Hari is informed of his son's death. He enters India via the India-Bangladesh border and traces Ajay's murder to Aditya. Seeking retribution, he plots to kill them. In anticipation, Vinod tries to warn Aditya through Valli, but is unable to do so. He is later murdered by Hari for failing to protect Ajay. Hari attacks Aditya and Valli by orchestrating a gruesome car accident. Aditya barely escapes with his life, sustaining minor injuries. However, Valli is diagnosed with terminal hemorrhage sustained as a consequence of the accident, and is informed that she will die before Adhitya awakes. Crestfallen, she makes a self-recording for Aaditya to see and passes away. Grief-stricken and enraged, Aditya decides to kill Vinod, only to discover about his death. Driven to the verge of insanity, he turns extremely violent and begins a rampage of murdering gangsters, which brings the film back to the present.

Hari organizes an ambush to kill Aditya and his team. He escapes, but several of his subordinates are injured. He is suspended from the police force as a consequence. He approaches the High court again, and gets 1 week to prove mental and physical fitness. Adhitya aces the test and is reinstated. Perplexed about the connection between the murders of Ajay, Vinod, and Valli, he discovers Valli's video clip, which reveals a third person with a strong connection to the case. With the assistance of police records, Aditya traces the case back to Hari. He also learns about the true link between Hari, Ajay, and Vinod - Hari had handed over Ajay to Vinod to keep him safe, before fleeing India. With assistance from a prison's inmates, Aditya traces Vinod's location to the old office complex of Mumbai Media, a media franchise owned by media baron Pramod Gupta, one of Hari's associates.

With the help of numerous policemen, Aditya launches a raid on the complex. He manages to capture Gupta and kill Hari's goons but fails to capture Hari himself. Hari retreats to the police station where he had orchestrated his brutal massacre and takes several people hostage. Aditya arrives at the police station and fights Hari, eventually emerging victorious. He manages to incapacitate Hari and stabs him to death, thus avenging Valli's death and instilling peace in Mumbai.

Gaurav Kapoor, based in suburban Miami, plans to marry his colleague Kavya, who happens to be the woman of his dreams, but she prefers a man who is more adventurous and risk-loving.

Running parallel to Gaurav's life, is the story of clandestine spy Rishi Purohit, who is seen to have been trying to extract some crucial substance from the Chinese Embassy in Bangkok. However, when a co-spy, Yakub, shoots down an innocent civilian, the dishonest move enrages Rishi. Nonetheless, he returns to Mumbai, where it is revealed that he works for Unit X, a spy organisation headed by Colonel Vijay Kumar Saxena. Rishi explains to Col. Vijay that he can't continue with such routines, and that he wants to start life afresh. Col. Vijay asks him to perform one last job for him, and this involves spying on a minister who Col. Vijay claims to be corrupt and wants to blackmail, and copying data from his cellphone into a hard drive which is wanted by Col. Vijay. Rishi does save contents into the hard drive, but Col. Vijay, having decided that Rishi is useless, instructs Yakub through a text message to kill him. Rishi senses the suspicion, and fights off Yakub and the other spies. Yakub manages to shoot Rishi, destroying the hard drive, but Rishi escapes.

Gaurav tries to hang out with Kavya on a date, and also meets her parents, who consider getting him married to Kavya. Meanwhile, he is ordered by his boss to visit Mumbai to close a business deal. Rewinding to Rishi's life, he is shown meeting a man named Gaurav Kapoor, who works in a cyber firm in Miami, and has important data about the minister's connections. When Gaurav is murdered by Yakub on account of being a liability, Rishi decides to adopt Gaurav's identity to successfully escape from Yakub after his last mission. This leads to his present-day life in 2017 as Gaurav in a Miami software company, thus implying that Gaurav is in fact Rishi himself, and that the events leading up to his new life took place five years earlier in 2012.

After being unintentionally recorded in a viral video and recognised by the members of Unit X, Gaurav is soon attacked by Koko, an associate of Unit X's local contact Jignesh. He is forced to abduct and hide Koko in his car, which is noticed by his friend Dixit, who tries to help him and unintentionally kills Koko in the struggle. Yakub and other Unit X agents track Gaurav down, and confront him, where he finally confesses, as Rishi, that he needed a life. He is knocked down unconscious, and soon finds himself handcuffed with Kavya who had stopped by his house. Gaurav uses his skills to escape with Kavya from the trouble, and ends up confessing to her that he is a retired covert operations specialist. Kavya berates him, but takes pity on him when she notices his bloody stab wound. The two make love. Later that night, the two find themselves under fire after Unit X agents, headed by Yakub, raid the motel they are hiding in. Rishi hatches a quick scheme to retrieve the data, since the hard drive is damaged, and convinces Yakub to work with him on their final mission.

Rishi executes the heist with success, but security guards take notice and begin chasing Rishi. Yakub aborts the operation and abandons him. They meet at Rishi's house, where Rishi kills most of Yakub's henchmen with the help of Kavya. However, Rishi spares Yakub and two of his thugs and orders him to leave his house. Driving away in Rishi's car, Yakub realises that the hard drive Rishi gave is blank, and the car's trunk contains Koko's corpse. Dixit, working with Rishi, crashes into their car in a side collision, and police arriving on the scene discover the body. Yakub and his thugs are killed by the cops as they open fire. Col. Vijay visits Rishi's house to confront him, but is killed in an explosion planned by Rishi. This neutralises Unit X, and Rishi and Kavya soon leave the city with new identities of Hemant and Pooja Khanna.

A mid-credits scene shows Dixit buying machine guns from a local gun store in Miami before putting on a hoodie and walking away.

Anjali Chauhan is a young woman who hails from an extremely rich and influential family. Her father, Narendra Chauhan (Kiran Kumar), is a renowned businessman. Anjali is in love with Dev Chopra who is the poor son of Narendra's late rival Ranjan Chopra, and often cannot even afford to clothe himself properly. Dev also loves Anjali and wants to marry her. Narendra accepts a proposal of a wealthy man from delhi for Anjali but when Anjali puts forward to Narendra and her mother Veena the proposal of marrying Dev, they decide to meet him. Anjali tells Dev not to act arrogant and dress nicely when meeting her parents. Dev ends up disappointing Anjali’s parents by his attitude and arrogance and so Narendra rejects his proposal. Dev tells Anjali that he cannot live without her but she does not want to upset her parents either so she leaves Dev. Upset by Anjali's betrayal, Dev tells all this to his mother Jhanvi, who dies after listening this. On the other hand, Anjali is getting married to Rambhan "Ram" Verma, the boy who her parents believe will be a perfect match for her. Ram is a man of great ideals, who believes in giving a rightful place to his wife and respects her sensibilities. Despite this, he is unable to win Anjali's love at first and their marriage remains on the edge. However, after seeing the magnanimity of Ram's heart in forgiving and accepting her, Anjali realizes that she has fallen in love with Ram and they happily enjoy their life as a married couple.

3 Years Later

3 years pass. Ram and Anjali celebrate their third wedding anniversary. Meanwhile, Dev, who is the guest of Soumya Malhotra, a relative of Ram's family, returns. He has now become a wealthy businessman. Anjali finds herself at a crossroads on where she would stand — for her husband Ram (with whom she is deeply in love) or with her former love Dev (who still wants to reunite with her). Anjali chooses to stand for Ram and has no wish to return to Dev, even though it pains her to know how hurt Dev is and will be in his future. When Anjali tells Dev that she is deeply in love with Ram, Dev cannot stand rejection for a second time and sets out to ruin Ram's life.This goes on for some time, causing turbulence and turmoil in Ram and Anjali's life. In the end, when Anjali tells Dev that she is pregnant with Ram's child, Anjali begs him to leave her alone. Dev realizes his folly and becomes good. He then decides to marry his current friend and business partner, Sheetal Varma, who is his new companion and had secretly loved him for a long time. He departs with her to London as Anjali and Ram look on.
