The story of a family that moves into a home situated next to a graveyard. The film starts innocently with a playful exchange between a parent and child about lizards' tails growing back. However, the child's curiosity leads him to chant a strange spell in the yard, which sets off a dangerous chain of events.

Hiroko Kurasawa, a video director and former colleague of the family's father, Naoto Ihara, visits their home and witnesses the strange occurrences. As Hiroko tries to uncover the mystery behind the family's troubles, she too becomes a victim of the malevolent forces at play.

Adapted from the novel "Kinjirareta Asobi" (禁じられた遊び) by Shimizu Karuma (清水カルマ).

Totei University Hospital has built a massive deficit. Investor Nicholas Tange, whose nickname is Vulture, comes up with a turnaround plan for the hospital. His plan implements restructuring and cost cutting. By Nicholas Tange’s request, Michiko Daimon begins to work at the Totei University Hospital again.

Saori, Yukko, Garuru, Nakanishi and Akemi are high school students at a provincial city and members of a playgroup at their school. Yoshioka, who used to perform in plays when she was in college back in Tokyo, begins to work at the same high school as a new teacher. When the girls decide to compete in a play competition, with the goal to make it through the regionals, teacher Yoshioka tells them they're aiming low and that they should think about the national competition.

Amano Aki goes with her mother Haruko to her hometown in Kitasanriku during a summer vacation. There, she meets her maternal grandmother, Natsu, for the first time. Natsu is a woman diver aka "ama", and Aki thinks that is just so cool. Aki is a second-year high-school student, and she struggles to keep up with the fast-paced life in Tokyo. Having been confined indoors most of the time, everything she sees in the rural town is exciting to her. But most of all, seeing her grandmother diving under the fierce surf along the coastline, leaves a huge impact on her. "I think I would like to be a diver too..."

A story of two men who decide to commit a perfect murder, and also a story of cops and relatives trying to decipher who the real murderer is.

The 64th NHK Asadora Renzoku Drama is Churasan, a story of a young woman, Kohagura Eri, who was born in Kohamajima Island, Okinawa on May 15, 1972, the day when Okinawa was returned to Japan from the U.S. Eleven years later, Kamimura Shizuko and her two sons, Kazuya and Fumiya, come from Tokyo to stay as the guests of a small inn run by Eri’s family. Eri’s fun-loving, yet eccentric family welcomes them warmly.

However, Eri is shocked to hear one of the sons, Kazuya is terminally ill and Shizuko and her sons came to Okinawa to spend his last moment together in beautiful nature. Fumiya, Kazuya’s younger brother, and Eri promise to marry each other someday. However, after Kazuya’s death, Fumiya and his mother leave the island to go back to Tokyo. Years later, they are reunited, Eri as a nurse and Fumiya, a doctor, working at the same hospital in Tokyo.

The story's settings include Okinawa, Naha, and Tokyo.
