The 24th installment in the popular "Real Scary Tales" series. Selected from among the many submitted anecdotes regarding gruesome experiences of absolute fear, this edition makes for a solid chapter in the everlasting omnibus of horror.

Misawa Sanae (Saito Yuki), a newscaster for a news programme, comes to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department’s Emergency Response Investigation Team in order to do a story on the special interrogation room where an enactment of an interrogation is underway. She feels a connection with Makabe Yukiko (Amami Yuki), the department’s only female who speaks passionately about the necessity of visualisation and being ready to fight fairly. “It seems we’ll be good friends,” she says in a loud voice and they shake hands firmly. This is what happened the day after. The Kintori receives a request to interrogate a suspect. This suspect is former hairdresser Yajima Satomi (Matsushita Yuki), who was just released yesterday morning from a women’s prison. She had served a six-year prison sentence for killing the boyfriend whom she started dating through a good friend’s introduction. In a mere three hours and fifteen minutes after her release on parole, she comes to turn herself, and says she “killed a person”. The murder weapon with Satomi’s fingerprints and skin on it as well as the dead body of a man are found at the location in accordance with her statement. However, the estimated time of death is one week ago. No matter how one thinks about it, it would have been impossible for Satomi to execute the crime while in prison. Why did she confesses to a crime that she did not commit? What truth is hidden beneath this lie!? Yukiko, who is in charge of the interrogation, attempts to determine the facts, but Satomi runs through her “confession”, and at the same time provokes a skeptical Yukiko. She finally suggests a live telecast of the interrogation as her terms to confess everything. However, Yukiko firmly refuses this. In order to get proof which will override the voluntary confession, the members of Kintori (Denden, Osugi Ren, Kohinata Fumiyo) run around to corroborate Satomi’s story on her movements in the three hours after her release. Meanwhile, Yukiko focuses on the high school graduation album that Satomi had in her possession when she turned herself in at the police station. She visits Satomi’s alma mater and obtains an unexpected clue which give her a fresh perspective in the investigation, but … They have just three days to interrogate Satomi. The Kintori make every effort to arrive at the truth in the meantime. Yoshino Hikari has a bright and friendly personality. She works at a credit association in her hometown. To pursue her dream of doing pet related work, she moves to Tokyo and begins to work at a pet salon. Unfortunately, the pet salon goes bankrupt. Bailiff Obara Itsuki carries out his work at the pet salon and becomes impressed with Yoshino Hikari. Obara Itsuki is not comfortable around dogs, but all the animals seem to like Yoshino Hikari. Due to Obara Itsuki, Yoshino Hikari begins to work as a bailiff assistant and teams up with Obara Itsuki.

Meanwhile, Kurihashi Yusuke is a clerk at the bailiffs’ office. He used to work at a bank and wants to become a lawyer. While working at the bailiffs’ office, Kurihashi Yusuke learns about the law. He develops unexpected feelings for Yoshino Hikari.

She became an extraordinary singer who changed the history of the country’s music scene.

Mizukawa Rei is a 30-year-old single woman. She quits working for a real estate company and opens Art no Subscription Company with her friend. She has busy days working for her new company. One day, she visits a coworking space and meets 25-year-old freelance photographer Arima Shuto. They have have a good feelings for each other and decide to go out with each other.

Arima Shuto soon becomes the best boyfriend Mizukawa Rei has ever had. He directly expresses his affection to her and suggests many fun things to do together. One thing that Mizukawa Rei doesn’t understand is that Arima Shuto has not tried to kiss her or become intimate. Arima Shuto tells her that there are more fun things to do with a loved one than becoming intimate.

More and more problems are created by the popularity of social media. In response to these problems caused by social media's influence, the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department creates the Yubitai Department. Detectives, including Wataru Banjo, are assigned to work there. The detectives in the Yubitai Department are far from those thought to be on the path of success in the police detective. One day, a middle aged woman visits the newly formed department. She tells them that her daughter committed suicide.

Onizuka Ichiro has been confined to a wheelchair ever since he was stabbed by a criminal and lost the function of his two legs. After retirement, he was reappointed by Shinjuku Higashi Police Precinct’s Criminal Affairs Division to head its Judicial Section because of the numerous cases he had solved. One day, a dead man is found in Shinjuku Botanical Garden and identified to be Matsumoto Yugo. The name is familiar to Onizuka who does a search on his computer and realises that Matsumoto had filed a report on the theft of his bicycle a month earlier. Together with his subordinate Toyama Saki, and Jin Keitaro, who was sent from the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department’s First Investigative Division to be a detective at the precinct, Onizuka begins to investigate the case. However, the new police chief Azuma Kanata is not pleased that their section is getting involved and has a confrontation with Keitaro over the investigation strategy.

While Yuzu Hodaishi (Riho Sayashi) tried to find a decent job, she became hooked on a novel about yoghurt and became a big fan of the bacteria lactobacillus bulgaricus that appeared in the novel. Meanwhile, I is a lactobacillus bulgaricus and sees Yuzu Hodaishi. I jump out of the package of yoghurt and follow her as an invisible presence.

After a year of trying to find a job, Yuzu Hodaishi finally gets hired by a food company in Meiwa and gets assigned to work for the company in Osaka. At first, she worked with the supermarket staff, but she was transferred to the PR department at the head office in Osaka. Her senior there is Itsumi Midori (Rio Asumi). Yuzu Hodaishi struggles with her life in unfamiliar Osaka and also her work in the PR department. She then gets assigned to work on a magazine article for Meiwa Yogurt's 50th anniversary.

About a shy girl who loves cooking and a bubbly girl who loves to eat, became sisters after their parents remarried.

A few months before a law is enacted that requires the recording of all police interrogations, police officers gather at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department and they receive instruction on how to treat suspects better. They observe, Yukiko Makabe (Yuki Amami) from the special interrogation team Kintori interrogate a suspect who does not show any signs of remorse. Yukiko Makabe uses sharp words and shows a lack of respect towards the suspect. Due to her behavior, Councilor Reiko Kikuchi orders Yukiko Makabe to train newcomers.

Around this time, Yuta Nomoto, who received a 12 year sentence, escapes while being transferred to prison. He breaks into a house and takes a housewife as a hostage.

Kuroe works as a delivery person for delivery company "Elephant Express," which is located on a deserted shopping street. Every day, she drives a small truck to deliver her packages. The packages contain unique stories of the sellers and purchasers.

Kujo Rina is a chemistry teacher and the homeroom teacher for the 3rd grade D class at Horai High School. She doesn't have a bond with her students. On the school's graduation day, Kujo Rina is pushed from the 4th floor and falls down. She is able to glimpse a school uniform sleeve on the person that pushed her. At that time, she wonders why she was pushed and that she does not want to die.

The next moment, Kujo Rina is standing in front of her students, and she has travelled back in time to one year earlier. She knows that one of the 30 students in front of her will try to kill her in a year. To find the truth about what will happen and to avoid her death, she approaches her students with all her heart. Meanwhile, Ugumori Kanau is one of Kujo Rina’s students in the 3rd grade D class. She is a model student, but she experiences a miserable school life due to her classmates targeting her.

Instead of going ahead with the divorce right away, he works hard with his partner, a detective, to gather evidence of his wife’s affair in order to earn the right to be the rightful caretaker of his daughter.
