A 40-year-old taxi driver is found dead at Yakcheon. Hyun Woo, who was a witness, is charged with murder despite his cry for innocence and serves 10 years in prison. After being released from prison, Hyun Woo tries to lead a quiet life with his mother, but the stigma of being a convicted murderer is hard to rid of. Meanwhile, lawyer Joon Yeong just lost a huge class-action suit. Heavily in debt, he decides to find a job at a law firm. While offering pro bono services arranged by the firm, Joon Yeong meets Hyun Woo, and they begin their journey to prove Hyun Woo's innocence.

The news anchor 'Soo-gyeong' unexpectedly meets up with her childhood friend 'Mi-soo'. Back when they were teenagers, they went to the baseball park and disappeared without a trace leaving only Soo-gyeong's painful memories of Mi-soo. And now, meeting Mi-soo again the once lively young girl has become someone completely different.

Passing time together with her boyfriend 'Dong-min' Mi-soo's strange attitude starts to worry Soo-gyeong so that she pushes herself away and worries about how close Mi-soo and Dong-min have become.

Yoo-Jin becomes a temporary teacher for 3 months at a school for troubled students. Her students include Jung-Hoon who was kicked out from the soccer team due to a violent incident and Sung-Ah who lives with her mother from Yanbian, China. Yoo-Jin gets these troubled students to take part in a musical for a talent show hosted by the district office.

Nearby police stations located in the Seoul districts of Mapo and Seodaemun are usually compared to each other and, consequently, has developed a rivalry. The chief at the Mapo police station is Hwang Jae Sung, who is fearless when it comes to catching criminals and uses any means necessary. To top the Mapo station, the Seodaemun police station appoints its new leader Jung Ui Chan, who graduated from the prestigious police academy. An award for "officer of the year" is given out to the officer able to apprehend the most criminals. The award also comes with a 30 million Won cash prize.

Hwang Jae Sung wants to receive the award as he wants a promotion and did not graduate from the police university. Jung Ui Chan also badly wants to win the award for the prize money involved - his girlfriend is pregnant. For this award, the two rivals compete even more fiercely. A serial rapist case then occurs, causing both stations to work together. The outcome hangs in the air.

Three high school students - Sung Hwan. Woo Sup and Jin Won - are on their way back from a birthday party for Sung Hwan's father. Several minutes later, a huge lump of cash and a bloody corpse crash on top of their car. With only a split second to decide, there is no option left for them.

Meanwhile, a dedicated young detective named Ji Hyung suspects Sung Hwan, Woo Sup and Jin Won of hiding the money and watches every move they make. In the meantime, the real thieves and a ruthless gang are looking to get their money back. After the case gets terminated, Sung Hwan, Woo Sup and Jin Won secretly go to the place where Sung Hwan stashed the money. They look inside a pit to discover a new surprise waiting for them.
