While Yuzu Hodaishi (Riho Sayashi) tried to find a decent job, she became hooked on a novel about yoghurt and became a big fan of the bacteria lactobacillus bulgaricus that appeared in the novel. Meanwhile, I is a lactobacillus bulgaricus and sees Yuzu Hodaishi. I jump out of the package of yoghurt and follow her as an invisible presence.

After a year of trying to find a job, Yuzu Hodaishi finally gets hired by a food company in Meiwa and gets assigned to work for the company in Osaka. At first, she worked with the supermarket staff, but she was transferred to the PR department at the head office in Osaka. Her senior there is Itsumi Midori (Rio Asumi). Yuzu Hodaishi struggles with her life in unfamiliar Osaka and also her work in the PR department. She then gets assigned to work on a magazine article for Meiwa Yogurt's 50th anniversary.

Saito Haruomi is a young man who moves from his hometown to Tokyo to attend a university. He begins to live in a lodging place that charges the low price of 10,000 yen per month. On his first day there, he meets a beautiful girl named Kokono. While making conversation with her, Saito Haruomi’s face blushes. He suffers from erythromania, which causes him to blush often. The story, developed with the cooperation of the International Mathematical Olympiad in Japan, is set at a specialized math school, where Michishige and Tanaka both take on the roles of “suugaku joshi” (“math girls”). Naturally, the show will incorporate various mathematical functions and formulas into the story and dialogue.

Kazuki Sato (Dori Sakurada), a hater of math, is transferred to a new school. On the first day of his new school, he walks to school and spots a pretty girl named Nina Machida (Reina Tanaka). At school, his homeroom teacher takes him to a classroom. On the chalkboard is mathematical formulas. He is surprised. His homeroom teacher tells him that his new school specializes in mathematics. During break, Nina Machida takes Kazuki School to the school cafeteria and tells him to buy bread whenever she asks. At this moment, Sayuri Tachikawa (Sayumi Michishige) and her two friends, who do not like Nina Machida, scheme to get Kazuki Sato and Nina Machida expelled from school.

Kazuki Sato walks around the school and sees a bunch of girls recite mathematical figures. He wonders to himself what they are doing.
