"Qayamat is a story of a young and beautiful girl whose life decisions are dominated by those around her. Eventually, all hell breaks loose when the people closest to her repeatedly make the same mistake making her future bleak. Ifrah along with her parents and elder sister Samra belongs to the lower middle class and believes in hard work and honesty. Ifrah and Samra’s parents are put in a tough spot when Ifrah’s uncle Mukhtar asks for Samra’s hand in marriage for his son Rashid. The families agree to the proposal without taking Samra’s approval however soon after marriage Samra suffers mistreatment from Rashid until she meets a tragic incident leaving Ifrah to face the dire consequences."

After Samra's marriage to Rashid, she receives hatred from Rashid and Nargis. She becomes a victim of domestic violence but stays quiet. She eventually becomes pregnant. One day, Rashid pushes Samra and she falls. She is rushed to the hospital and delivers a girl and dies. Rashid accidentally "kills" Pari. Rashid's family decides to get him married to Ifrah. Ifrah disagrees. Jawad sees that his niece needs a mother and begs her to marry his brother. Jawad sacrifices his love and eventually, Ifrah agrees. Ifrah's parents repeat their mistake of marrying off their daughter to Rashid, who is known to have subjected their eldest daughter to frequent domestic abuse. Knowing the main culprit behind her sister's demise, Ifrah decides that if she's destined to marry Samra's abuser, then there must be vengeance.

Ifrah's father, Fayaz, becomes stressed with all the drama and tension and decides to become a derwesh and leaves for the city of Multan where he will soon encounter a young man named Farhad.

Bedardi Saiyaan captures the struggles of widowed women and their emotions. Sauliha Khatoon is one woman this drama serial revolves around— whose husband’s death leaves her with limited options for survival. She moves to her brother’s house along with a son and daughter but even seeking a favour from a blood relative comes with a price here. The downtrodden members of Sauliha Khatoon’s family face discouragement and taunts from her brother’s wife on a daily basis.

As time passes, Sauliha’s daughter and son excel in life. Their lives turn out to be all about unending tests. Sauliha’s daughter, Hania, gets trapped by a greedy and cunning man who intends to capture her money after marriage. He continuously plants diabolic schemes against his wife (Hania) for looting her business and takes maximum advantage from her efforts. She begins to question what the future really holds for her after he shows his true colors.

Durr-e-Shehwar's (Samina Peerzada) daughter, Shandana (Nadia Jamil), and Durr-e-Shehwar's husband, Mansoor's (Qavi Khan) nephew, Haider (Noman Ejaz) have been married to each other for the last eight years. But recently there has been a breach in their relationship due to which Shandana decides to spend some time at her maternal home in Murree along with her young daughter, Sophia (Sophia Syed).

Both Durr-e-Shehwar and Mansoor love Shandana and Sophia a lot. But Shandana envies her mother thinking that she led a comfortable and happy life with a loving husband and nothing to worry about. And thus, she often compares Haider with her father. Shandana also undergoes a stage of semi-depression and evens thinks of divorcing Haider. When Mansoor gets to know this, he gets angry with Haider. He reports this matter to his sister i.e. Haider's mother, thus, further complicating the matter.

Unable to see Shandana in such a devastated condition, finally one day Durr-e-Shehwar narrates her own life story to Shandana and reveals that life for her wasn't as easy as Shandana thinks it to be. She tells her that when she had got married (Sanam Baloch as Young Dur-e-Shehwar) and moved to Mansoor's (Mikaal Zulfiqar as Young Mansoor) house, Mansoor's mother (Saba Faisal) was cold towards her and did not use to appreciate her for good qualities. Durr-e-Shehwar had to struggle a lot to gain her mother-in-law's acceptance and also the true love of Mansoor, who had earlier neglected her on the words of his mother. Hearing this story, Shandana realizes that her mother's life wasn't a bed of roses and being a housewife did not ensure happiness for Durr-e-Shehwar. This does blemish Shandana's respect for her father but it calms her down and gives her morale to start a new life with Haider.
