The City of Violence (2006) Anon Tae-su, a detective fighting organized crime, returns to his hometown for his high school friend Wang-jae's funeral. At the funeral, he meets his old friends Pil-ho, Dong-hwan and Seok-hwan and they reminisce. Suspecting something fishy about Wang-jae's death, Tae-su and Seok-hwan start investigating it each in his own way. Both of their investigations lead to a land development project that Pil-ho is directing and the two embark on a difficult battle.

Die Bad is broken up into four parts: Rumble: Two groups of opposing teens start off playing pool but soon they clash heads. In the midst of fighting, Sung-bin kills Hyun-soo and thus begins his descent into crime. Nightmare: Seven years later, Sung-bin is released from prison. Upon returning home he finds that his father no longer cares about him. His elder brother gets him a job at a garage where a cop visits him several times but Sung-bin soon finds himself back out of work. It's not long before fate leads him once again along a rocky path. Modern Man: Suk-hwan, an old friend of Sung-bin who was with him on the day of that fateful incident has now become a police officer. We see him on a stakeout; unbeknownst to Suk-hwan the man he is after is connected to Sung-bin. Die Bad: Sung-bin has recruited a gang of youths, unaware that they are expendable and whose only purpose is to serve as knife fodder. Suk-hwan finally faces Sung-bin in a showdown; meanwhile Sung-bin's youth gang faces a horrific and bloody battle.

Tae-Su (Jung Doo-Hong), a tough-as-nails gang-squad cop in Seoul, is drawn back to his hometown Onseong when his high school pal Wang-Jae (Ahn Kil-Kang), a crook gone straight and certainly no wimp, is murdered in an alley behind his little bar. Once home, Tae-su reconnect with the remnants of his circle, Pil-Ho (Lee Beom-Su), Dong-Hwan (Jeong Seok-Yong) and Seok-Hwan (Ryu Seung-Wan), summoning up memories of the crazy scrapes that cemented their friendship. Tae-Su’s instincts tell him that Wang-Jae’s death was no random tragedy, and he elects to lurk around for a few days and beat the bushes. The bushes beat back, and Tae-Su barely escapes a swarm of teenage hoods with the able assistance of Seok-Hwan. The stakes are raised, the pieces are coming together, and the scrappy quartet of buddies is beginning to fall apart. Before long, Tae-Su and Seok-Hwan will charge headfirst into a sea of enemies, battling their way to the core of a corrupt, criminal empire with every last ounce of strength they have.

Oh Young is a nameless actor who dreams of becoming a big movie star. Then one day, he makes his breakthrough with a film and becomes a star overnight. He discovers a new hidden world of fame, power, and pleasure, but inevitably all things have a dark side, which puts everyone around him in danger.

Jong Du is autistic who ignores society's rules; unaware or unconcerned with the consequences of his actions. Unable to hold a job and always on the edge, he has been in jail three times: for attempted rape, for causing an accident while drunk, and for armed robbery.

On the spur of the moment, he decides to visit and apologize to the family of the man killed by his brother. When he arrives, he finds a husband and wife moving out of their apartment, leaving the husband's seriously disabled sister, Gong Ju, for the neighbors to look after.

Jong Du and Gong Ju slowly begin a friendship based on their mutual feelings of isolation. He provides her with the closeness she desperately needs; and she has found someone to care for, for the first time in her life.

As their relationship becomes known, both their families are scandalized; and aided by the prejudices of society, transform the innocence of their love into something sick and twisted.
