The image of the spider lily tattoo is the last cohesive memory of Takeko's traumatized brother, Ching, who is no longer able to recognize anyone, including his sister. Takeko has the same tattoo of the poisonous flower on her body in the hope of helping Ching remember and bridging the gap between them. Webcam girl Jade visits Takeko's tattoo parlor, looking for sexy decoration to excite her clientele. Entranced by the tattoo of the spider lily on the wall, Jade gives Takeko her business card and invites her to visit her on her website where she professes her love for the tattoo artist. Finally, jade asks takeko to give her the same spider lily tattoo to bring her closer to the object of her desire.

Mei Zuo's Chapter Mei Zuo (Vanness Wu) (Akira Mimasakain in manga series) got picked pocketed by a Japanese girl, Ai Sha, struggling to survive in Taiwan. Ai Sha fools Mei Zuo several times before she finally reveals the truth. Ai Sha, recently left Japan to find her grandmother. Mei Zuo agrees to help her and after several events take place, Ai Sha and Mei Zuo start to practice dancing together. The explanation for this is that Ai Sha believes the best way to find her grandmother is to enter and win a televised dance contest. At the end of this chapter, a romance is strongly hinted at. Xi Men's Chapter Xiao You (Rainie Yang) (Yuki in manga series) comes back from Canada by herself on a quest for her love. She attempts to rekindle her relationship with Xi Men (Ken Chu) (Soujiroh Nishikado in manga series) and at first seems to be unsuccessful. After an occurrence at the bar, Xi Men and Xiao You confront each other about their behaviors. Later Xi Men reveals to Xiao You a bit of his past and tells her about this girl, Xiao Gen, he once loved. Xiao Gen had discovered something very special, but he had been somewhat afraid of his feelings and had greatly disappointed her by not showing up. Inspired by the story, Xiao You goes on a time-consuming search for the "special thing" that Xiao Gen had wanted to show Xi Men. Dao Ming Si's Chapter There are two parts to this chapter. It explains several scenes that took place in Meteor Garden. Dao Ming Si (Jerry Yan) (Tsukasa Domyouji in manga series) is charged with a crime and flees. He narrowly escapes the police, by jumping off a train and lies unconscious on a beach. A young girl by the name of Xin Xin finds him and Dao Ming Si is temporarily taken in by Ah Yuan, who appears to be Xin Xin's father. Ah Yuan and Xin Xin live in a simple shack by the beach and are not wealthy. There are several twists to this plot, the main one being that Xin Xin does not talk. Apparently, Xin Xin is not mute; she was simply traumatized by something that happened to her in the past. Thanks to Xin Xin's advances, Dao Ming Si and Xin Xin quickly bond. However problems arise in the second part of this chapter, when Ah Yuan learns that Dao Ming Si is wanted by the police and Dao Ming Si learns the truth about Ah Yuan & Xin Xin's past.

Heartbeat Love is a miniseries that chronicles the love story between two travelers named Lee Wei Chen and Yang Xiao Yu (played by Show Luo and Rainie Yang respectively) who, due to a gender misunderstanding on Xiao Yu's part, share a hotel room in Australia. Xiao Yu initially mistakes Lee as being gay, and therefore agrees to share a room and sleep on the same bed as him. The night when they share the room Lee manages to get Gaygay's phone number and arranges to meet up the next day and switch back the suitcases.The next day, they go out together and accidentally fall in love with each other after pretending to be a married couple. After the day ended, they both went back to the hotel. In the hotel, Gaygay was waiting in the lobby for them and they exchanged their bag. Xiao Yu is very angry about Lee's deception. She slaps him and runs away.Day after that, they both went to Melbourne deciding they will not share the same room anymore so they both went to different directions. That day, they coincidentally meet up several times, much to Xiao Yu's anger and Lee's chagrin. They end up meeting again in a food store, where Xiao Yu is forced to beg for Lee's help in escaping a guy who comes in, though she refuses to tell Lee who the man is. They continue their day and Xiao Yu finally forgives Lee. They end up kissing and sleeping together.They continue to vacation, until the man Xiao Yu had run from shows up while she is trying on wedding dresses. Lee helps her escape again, but demands the truth from her. She tells him that her life is similar to "Roman Holiday," a film in which a runaway bride seizes her last few days of independence. Lee asks her if she ever had any feelings for him, and she says no. Heartbroken, he returns to Taiwan.After a year, Show meets up with the man Xiao Yu had run from. Lee asks about their marriage, and the man informs him that he is Xiao Yu's brother. He hands Lee a video explaining that Xiao Yu hadn't been engaged—she'd undergone a very risky heart surgery and hadn't wanted to hurt him by telling him the truth. Lee goes to the island to find her—following the trail of pictures that she left him—and they meet up in Tasmania happily.
