An asteroid is on course to crash into Earth in 200 days and destroy the planet. The world soon learns of the news and falls into confusion.

Jin Se Kyung works as a middle-school teacher in Woongchun City. She learns about the impending end of the world. She decides to quit her job and do volunteer work at a child and youth division in city hall. She struggles to save children in danger. Her boyfriend of many years is Ha Yoon Sang. He currently works as a researcher at a biotechnology research institute in the United States. After news of the end of the world is released, he flies back to South Korea to be with Jin Se Kyung.

Woo Sung Jae is an assistant priest at a Catholic Church. The presiding priest at the church ran away after news broke out about the approaching asteroid. Woo Sung Jae now takes care of the parishioners at the church. Kang In A is a commander of a combat support battalion. She goes around Woongchun City, which has been ruined, to provide supplies, transport and security.

In a newly constructed apartment in a large city where the higher floors are up for general sales and the lower floors are rented out, the drama depicts the subtle psychological battle and the class discrimination that occurs. The city hits rock bottom when an impending apocalypse hits in the form of a new type of infectious disease in which people suffer from unabated thirst.

Yoon Sae Bom grew up in an unhappy household. She is decisive and has fast judgement, and she’s the type to put things into action as soon as she puts her mind to it. Her motto is to live comfortably in the complicated world, but she’s actually a character who can hold a grudge.

Jung Yi Hyun is a violent crimes detective and the female lead Yoon Sae Bom’s former high school classmate, friend, and fake husband. In high school, he drove his baseball team to victory at the high school baseball league and was selected in the second round of the major league baseball draft. However, he had to quit baseball due to a knee injury, and it was Yoon Sae Bom’s sympathy and bravery that helped him get back on his feet.

Han Tae Seok was an information agent while serving in the military, and after being discharged, he worked as an executive at a pharmaceutical company. He is the perfect person for a position dealing with infectious diseases.

In one corner we have a drama screenwriter and in the other, a rom-com actress. While the writer chooses not to date, the actress cannot seem to date. The story unfolds as they find themselves sharing the same living quarters.

Oh Joo In, is a top rom-com actress who is a favorite with all audiences, young and old, male and female. In real life, however, it’s not that she chooses not to date but that she can’t date. Although she appears to live a flashy life on the outside, she is a down-to-earth woman with her own secret depths.

Han Bi Soo, a man with a prickly side who shows a different side of himself when he’s in love. He has a scar that no one else knows, so he stimulates maternal instinct that makes it unable for anyone to look away from him.

Hong Man Sub is a 24-year-old college student majoring in food and nutrition. He has never dated and is not popular with girls. Nevertheless, he falls in love with An Na at first sight. An Na is the most popular girl at the school and unexpectedly takes an interest in Hong Man Sub because is different from the other students.

Hong Man Sub then plays a game of jokgu (a game that shares elements of soccer and volleyball) with Kang Min. Kang Min has taken an interest in An Na and he is also a former Korean National Soccer player. Hong Man Sub wins the game and becomes a hero with the other students. The students also become crazy about the game of jokgu. The university then decides to hold a jokgu competition. Hong Man Sub will face Kang Min once again.

University student Hae-Won wants to break up with Teacher Sung-Joon. They have had a secret relationship. Hae-Won meets her mother, who is going to emigrate to Canada tomorrow. After meeting her mother, Hae-Won feels depressed and decides to meet Sung-Joon for the first time in a long while. On that day, Hae-Won and Sung-Joon happen to meet students at a restaurant who study the same major, and their relationship becomes known to others. Hae-Won becomes more depressed. Sung-Joon then suggests they run away somewhere else.
