Katagiri Yuichi is a second-year high school student who is abducted with four friends to repay a large amount of debt and he decides to participate in the mysterious "Tomodachi Game".

Utagawa Kotoha is a bright 25-year-old woman. She is sometimes timid, but she is also a curious person. Tanaka Nozomu is one of the three high school students. People call her "Baka" ("Idiot"). She isn't timid and she can't read between the lines. Her friends are Kikuchi Akane and Saginomiya Shiori . Akane enjoys anime and manga. Shiori is extremely smart, but her emotions have dried up. These three girls are also classmates. Their homeroom teacher is Sawatari Masataka.

Shuichiro Kiriyama returns to Japan after working for the FBI [in America] for 12 years. Once again, he starts working with the Statute of Limitation Management Department. Then Tetsuya’s ex-girlfriend, a cute high school girl, the wealthy Yoshimoto Ryunosuke (Tamura Yukihisa) who has fallen in love at first sight with Reiko and Reiko’s rival Kakitsubata Ayame (Onishi Ayaka) appear before the two of them.

Michio (Kyoko Fukada) is 30-years-old. She keeps looking for a job after her previous employer went bankrupt, but she is unable to find work. Michio still supports her younger boyfriend and her savings is almost gone. Then, Michio meets her ex-boss Ayumu (Dean Fujioka). She was scared of Ayumu when they worked together. Ayumu now runs a tearoom which his grandmother ran. Michio decides to work part-time at Ayumu's tearoom.

There, she various troubles everyday. Ayumu helps Michio, which allows her to see a different side of him that she never noticed before.

DRAMA

Based on the best-selling serial novels by Higashigawa Tokuya, the drama is about private investigator Ukai Morio, a man who talks much. The story starts with Morio and policeman Tomura Ryuhei at a gorgeous mansion with three gentlemen and two ladies, and a murder to solve.
