13 years ago, Nakajou Senri's parents were brutally murdered and his older twin brother Kazuto was taken away by a man with a ‘fire’ scar on his arm. Since then, Senri has lived only for revenge. He continues to search for the ‘fire’ man. Together with his childhood friend Enan (Sakurai Hinako) and detective Wakazono (Nomura Shuhei), he attempts to track down the truth behind the incident and exact his revenge.

A strict but loving grandma solves a myriad of issues for the people around her!

Doumeki Miki lives in a small rural village surrounded by abundant nature and beautiful scenery. After becoming a widow at an early age, she’s spent many years working as a leader in her village. A beautiful, intelligent woman in her 70s, she’s incredibly spry, with perfect posture.

Whenever a problem arises, her neighbors all rush to Miki for advice.

When faced with two bickering villagers:

“Your plum tree is ruining my view!”

“Well, your cherry blossom tree is an eyesore, too!” Miki’s response is simple.

“Then, I’ll cut down both of your trees!” Strangely enough, after being reminded of how joyful it is to watch the seasons change through the blossoming of different trees, both neighbors cease their arguing and calm down.

One spring, Miki’s son moves himself and his family back to the village after living in the city and she comes face to face with her 6 year old granddaughter, Ako. Despite Miki’s severe personality and intimidating presence, the little girl seems intent on befriending her...

Set in the 1990's, high school student Ayu lives with her mother and grandmother in Fukuoka. She works as a model, but, to pursue an acting career, she goes to Tokyo with her grandmother. While attending a high school, she picks up acting work, but only minor roles. One day, Ayu meets Masa, who is the executive director of record label A Victory. He decides to make Ayu into a singer. According to Masa, Ayu prepares to make her debut as a singer. Meanwhile, she encounters jealousy from rivals at her record label. Trusting Masa, Ayu endures her problems. She also develops feelings for Masa and Masa also holds feelings for her.

Nagatsu Ryoko, who belongs to the Agency for Cultural Affairs, is found dead in the mountain. One month ago, she discovered a Buddha statue at a mountain shrine. Her death seems accidental, caused by Ryoko slipping, but Itomura Satoshi determines that her death was not accidental.

Neko Zamurai Season 2 (Spring 2015) stars Kitamura Kazuki, reprising his role as Madarame Kyutaro, the former swordplay mentor turned ronin, with his feline companion, Tamanojo. Kyutaro, along with the cat, has returned to Edo after visiting his family back in his homeland. He intends to once again try finding a job as a Samurai in the city. However, trouble awaits him at his tenement housing. His old landlord has assigned his daughter Kikuno (Mori Kanna) as the new landlady. Kikuno reiterates her father's rule of "no cats allowed." She has an acute nose and suspects Madarame of hiding a cat from her. Further exacerbating his dilemma, Kyutaro discovers that there have been numerous cats living in his room since he's been away! Nekomiya's proprietress Oshichi (Takahashi Kaori) tells him to keep the cats since they will bring him luck... Meanwhile, Kyutaro has to find a job so he goes to an employment agency and meets with owner Tenbiki Shiro (Moto Fuyuki) who tries to find him a job. There are also additional people in town: a new arrogant constable Kameyama Tsurujiro (Nishina Takashi), and a new neighbor, Sasuke (Sano Yasuomi) who seems to be vying for Tamanojo's affection. And then, there is also Kyutaro's strict mother-in-law, Tae (Kino Hana), who is unhappy with her daughter, Oshizu (Yokoyama Megumi) and son-in-law's arrangement... Written by earthcolors

Toyokawa Etsushi and Ito Hideaki appear together for the first time in what is a never-before-seen lawyer-oriented drama. The original work by Iura Hideo, "Bengoshi no Kuzu," is currently being published by Big Comic Original. Our main character, Kuzu Motohito--aka "scum lawyer"--will do just about anything if it means he can win in court. Lawyers aren't on the side of justice! The law isn't meant to punish people, it's meant to save them! At least, that's this guy's secret motto. High school drop-out, lover of money and women, rude demeanor, and a vulgar mouth. This ridiculous excuse for a lawyer (played by Toyokawa Etsushi) has his first challenge in this comedy as the character Kuzu Motohito. And then there's Takeda Masami (played by Ito Hideaki) who works with Kuzu; Takeda Masami is a wet behind the ears lawyer who is touched by the very idea of justice. Takashima Reiko plays the capable female lawyer, Kato Tetsuko. "You'll laugh, you'll cry...a satisfying Legal Human Comedy that breaks through all the rules of the legal world."

Yoshinari Chinami, who has been selling buttons and fabric at a clothing material store in an old neighbourhood of Tokyo, unexpectedly finds herself working at the editorial division of a fashion magazine and is thrilled. The fashion industry is a dazzling world which she has never seen before. But what opens up to her is a terrifying den of demons where females prey on each other day after day … … From the low-level person who has to do odd jobs for a lifetime to the uppermost level which manipulates magazines and advertisements at will, it is an industry of dramatic disparities. It is also a ridiculous female world where women assign ratings and rankings change everyday. The only way to survive in this harsh place is to be “first class”. Chinami’s only friend is the assistant photographer Nishihara Itsuki. Will she be able to to find happiness in this fashion hell?

Hakamada Yukio is a competent, mysterious lawyer who only handles settlement cases because of past experiences. Although his scathing words get on clients’ nerves, his primary consideration is their welfare. His philosophy that “love is something that can never be bought with money. But if a client is able to have genuine resolve, I’ll certainly get the compensation and give the push for a fresh start” is the basis for the problems that he solves one after another.
