Kim Do-Ran has a bright and positive personality, even though she is in a financially difficult situation. She studies for an exam to become a public officer. One day, her biological father Kang Soo-Il appears in front of of her. She hasn't seen him in 28 years. Kim Do-Ran's life soon becomes twisted.

This drama tell the story of a detective, Lee Da Il (Choi Daniel) who catches ghosts, tries to solve the case of his younger sibling’s bizarre death with the help of his assistant Jung Yeo Wool (Park Eun Bin). He runs into a mysterious woman called Seon Woo Hye (Lee Ji Ah) who appears at every crime scene.

Geum Byeol and Eun Byeol are twin sisters and have had a bad sibling relationship since they were little girls. Geum Byeol was treated like a princess by their mother while Eun Byeol was neglected and forced to give in to her sister all the time. The sisters had a long, tempestuous relationship but this conflict between them should have ended when they got married. Instead, their marriages took their sibling rivalry to new heights. They later found out that their husbands were sworn enemies. This TV show revolves around unequal childhoods and how two siblings find themselves the daughters-in-law in two feuding families which they try to mediate. These multiple strained relationships between people are portrayed in a lighthearted way as the related parties eventually resolve their issues through forgiveness and love.

Lee Ha-Jin and Cha Do-Yoon were deeply in love and planned to marry, but, because of circumstances standing in their way, she broke up with him cruelly. Eight years later the two of them meet again. A family crisis arises when a respected tailor suddenly leaves home.

Lee Man Sool is a master tailor who has been trying to preserve the dying art of making custom men’s suits from scratch through his family-owned business, Laurel Tree Tailor Shop, which has been in business for almost 100 years. However, Man Sool one day departs without notice, leaving only a note behind for his wife, Choi Gok Ji; twice-divorced daughter, Lee Dong Sook; Dong Sook’s daughter, Kim Da Jung; and son, Lee Dong Jin. Man Sool knows that his old-fashioned tailor shop is a dying business and asks his family to sell it for him while he is away because he doesn’t have the heart to do it himself.

Man Sool’s old apprentice, Bae Sam Do, who now runs a fried chicken business with his wife, Bok Sun Nyeo, is devastated by the news of his old master’s disappearance and wants to return to the tailor shop, but Sun Nyeo is still smarting over his past failed tailor businesses and forbids it.

Man Sool’s employees, seamstresses Na Yun Shil and Geum Choon Daek, want to keep the business open until the master tailor’s return, but Yun Shil keeps having bad experiences every time she runs into Dong Jin.

When Dong Jin’s wife, Min Hyo Joo, divorces him after he is unseated as the president of her father’s company, Meesa Apparel, by Hyo Joo’s stepbrother, Min Hyo Sang, and stepmother, Han Eun Sook, Dong Jin decides to return to his father’s tailor shop.

Meanwhile, Yun Shil’s friend, Kang Tae Yang, is dumped by his longtime girlfriend, television announcer Choi Ji Yeon, while Dong Sook is determined to help washed-up singer Sung Tae Pyung get back on his feet.
