A saying circulates online about the Sales Department of the nation’s largest media group, Winners’ Weekly: “One would rather end up in a monastery than Winners’ Weekly.” However, there are many fearless entry-level job seekers vying to get into the perilous workplace. Chien and Chou Yi are two examples. The former, 22, is a docile, detailed-oriented girl who follows every single word of all protocols verbatim. The latter, 21, is a hyper-stuck-up ex-E-sports player. While the two come across each other at an interview with some tensions, they leave the interviewers impressed and convinced enough to hire them. The seemingly promising start does not prevent them from getting fired if they fail to reach the expected statistics within three months. The two rookies are brought to the same division by fate. While the two don’t get along in the beginning, they have to engage with each other in some projects. However, does it get better after this probation? No, the challenge is only about to begin.

After a biological terrorist attack kills off the population of a Russian town; Japan's Public Safety Special Third unit, code name THIRD-i, believes that the terrorist organization responsible plans to unleash the same virus known as Bloody X into Tokyo. Subsequently, THIRD-i recruits the help of genius hacker Takagi Fujimaru to find out what happened in the Russia. However, as Fujimaru becomes involved, he soon finds out that he is in over his head and that the terrorist groups influence reaches not only his school but even the police. Fujimaru must now rely on his skill as a hacker to unravel the organizations sinister plot and find out the truth behind "Bloody Monday."

Whereas the first series dealt with a deadly Russian weapons-grade virus, the new season is set two years later when an aircraft bearing a new kind of nuclear weapon threatens Tokyo.

Bright and early one Monday morning, Shino Yuzuru asks Seiryo Toji out on a lark when they run into each other at the school gate. Seiryo, who's immensely popular, has the odd habit of going out with anyone who asks him out first at the beginning of the week, then promptly dumping them at the end of it. "Anyone" apparently includes male upperclassmen like Shino, and as a boyfriend, Seiryo is perfect, unfailingly thoughtful, and kind. Shino, obviously, has no intention of being in a serious relationship with Seiryo.
