The story is based on the life of a japanese composer named Yuji Koseki from Fukushima in the Showa Era.

He would later become the talented composer Koyama Yuichi who wrote many famous songs. Although Yuichi was brought up as the heir of the business, he was rather dreamy and considered a child with no redeeming traits by the people around him. However, when he encountered music, it sparked joy and unleashed his gift in composing music through self-study. As a youth, Yuichi secretly put his name down for an overseas songwriting competition. Despite the long distance between them – Fukushima and Toyohashi – the two of them tied the knot. Zenzo Shinozaki (Kenichi Endo) made a fortune in his lifetime working as a company president. Due to his bad temper, he has been isolated from people. Saori Yamane (Rena Matsui) works as a hostess at a bar. In her past, she killed her mother to protect her younger sibling. Zenzo Shinozaki then proposes to pay Saori 100 million yen for 100 hours of her time. Their lonely trip begins.

The story continues in the next school year after the events of the last season. The new members of Rappappa now face a even greater threat from within their own school and the surrounding schools.

Two transfer students, Atsuko Maeda and Onizuka Daruma came at the all-girls school Majisuka Gakuen. In this school violence and fighting are common among the Yankee students. Noisy and trouble maker Daruma made a fuss as soon as she entered the school, win in her first fight but then was beaten easily by another gang shortly after. In contrary to Daruma's bold-but-powerless attitude, Maeda who is truthfully a strong girl despite of her silent nature found Daruma is beaten by Team Hormon before her. The word "Majisuka?" (means are you serious?) instantly awaken her true nature and made her won the battle against Daruma's attackers easily, thus made a big fuss at the school and the news even reached the strongest fighting group, Rappapa. Afterwards, Daruma acknowledged Maeda as her boss and as a result the friendship between the two girls began to grow along with their fights with fellow students at their school.
