Yoroi Takeshi is a former street fighter, but he now works as a private investigator. Takeshi also possesses a special suit made out of an augmented polymer. The suit transforms Takeshi Yoroi into Hurricane Polymar who has super strength, high-speed rotation, and ability to transform into five different kinds of vehicles. He can only stay as Hurricane Polymar for up to 46 minutes and 1 second before reverting back. As Hurricane Polymar, Takeshi goes up against villains.

17-year-old Aoi came to Yui Obstetrics and Gynecology clinic as a part-time nurse apprentice in Summer 1997. Right after her entry, she is shocked after witnessing an abortion surgery. However, she also met staff members like Yui, the head of the clinic who is careful about everything, Sayako, a reliable and experienced nurse, and Sakaki, the gentle head nurse, who face each pregnant patient and support them after surgeries. Yaichi is a work-at-home suburban dad in contemporary Tokyo; formerly married to Natsuki, father to their young daughter, Kana. Children go missing in a town and the adults around them die suspiciously. When an internet rumor spreads that an adult met a child who went missing, and the adult dies 3 days later, local newspaper reporter Shunya Ezaki begins to investigate the mysterious deaths. Meanwhile his girlfriend, Nahomi Harada, works at a kindergarten school. A boy's mother does not pick him up and she takes him with her. Then a mysterious man appears and the boy under Nahomi’s care soon goes missing.

When a Japanese housewife has an affair while her husband is hard at work providing for the family the phrase goes 'heijitsu hirugao tsuma.' When a Japanese woman sleeps with a married teacher she is shunned and shamed and has to change her name and residence. yet, that is not their end. There is more to come.

Newcomer Amaya Miyuki belongs to the crew of the manned research submersible Shinkai 6500 (6K) at the Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC), and dreams of becoming the pilot of the 6K. Her late father, Atsushi, had also been active as a brilliant pilot and researcher of JAMSTEC. He risked his own life to unravel the phenomenon called the “abyssopelagic universe”, but died of illness without fulfilling his life ambition. Miyuki is intent on exploring the deep sea that her father had told her about when she was a child, and devotes herself to her duties as a cadet pilot every day. Then one day, Miyuki gets the chance to board the 6K. JAMSTEC devotes itself to public relations activities on Japan’s first female pilot. But right before her voyage, Miyuki finds a tape from her father’s locker. It is a video that recorded enormous unknown objects and the fear of the pilots who were stranded in the deep sea. This also captured the last moments of her father. Seeing the shocking footage which bears no resemblance to the beautiful deep sea, Miyuki is assailed by an intense fear. Will she be able to come back safely from the dark deep sea?

On 9 August (Showa 20) 1945, one streetcar starts to run on the streets of Hiroshima which has been devastated. The surviving employees of the electric tram company had begun recovery work since the day after the atomic bomb was dropped. The bent tracks were hammered down and the overhead wires were set up again. A mere three days after the bombing, they manage to resume service on a section of the route. The drivers are young girls in their mid-teens who work while studying at the company’s girls school for home economics. Working in place of the males who have gone off to war, they are crew of the streetcar and even in charge of driving. 16-year-old Amada Toyoko (Kuroshima Yuina) is one of them. Born in a farming village in the outskirts of Hiroshima, Toyoko had heard that she could study while working, and came to Hiroshima. She was driving during the morning shift on the day that the atomic bomb was dropped, but miraculously survived although she was thrown out of the streetcar. Now she stands at the driver’s seat with her head wrapped in a bandage. The car is filled with people who are going in search of family members. Everyone clings to hope and stares ahead. Then the end of the war greets them. The streetcar continues to run on the streets of Hiroshima which has lost everything.

“Once the streetcar runs, Hiroshima will come to life again!” Matsuura Akitaka (Abe Hiroshi), the head of the electric tram company’s electrical section and a widower with three children, is tasked with restoring the main routes within one month. The streetcar which travels the forlorn streets becomes the hope of Hiroshima before anyone realises it.

Kudo Sayaka is a 2nd grade high school student. She is a gal who wears miniskirts and has her hair dyed blonde. Even though she is a high school student, her actual academic grade level is on par with 4th grade elementary school students. During the summer, Sayaka attends a private institution. There, she meets Teacher Tsubota. Besides her mother, Teacher Tsubota is the first adult to praise her. Sayaka begins to change.

As the classes were carried out in English, Hanako faced a culture shock when she started school. Unable to understand the teachers nor able to grasp the conversation of her peers, Hanako resolved to work really hard at her studies.This drama follows Hanako from her childhood, through her years at the missionary school, to her life as a school teacher and finally as the translator of L.M. Montgomery's "Anne of Green Gables".
