Hino Misaki, a full-time housewife, has given up on her dream of being a manga artist. Her husband, Toru, is a manga editor, and their son, Yuto, has a severe allergy. When she sees a flyer recruiting new manga artists, Misaki begins drawing at night. One day, after leaving Toru to watch over Yuto, Yuto dies after a severe allergic reaction. After the funeral, Misaki learns that Yuto died due to an allergy attack from muffins from Toru's affair partner. A woman who wished for small happiness, but after realizing her wish would not come true, chose the path of revenge.

Jiro and Mifuyu(are a couple who just started dating. One day, they argue about how to eat the yolk of a fried egg. Jiro is stubborn about how to eat and he has a hard time dealing with people who eat differently. This causes Jiro to reflect deeply on his relationship with others including Mifuyu. He opens up to the different ways people eat and the different thoughts of others.

He decides to move his company to a dead shopping district of a port town in decline. Even though the port town is lifeless and in serious decline, people go to see Sugiyama with small requests. Sugiyama begins his struggle as a small advertising agency.
