With graduation looming, university student Cheng Xin is convinced her graduation ceremony would be the perfect time to propose to her boyfriend, Zheng Qian. Mustering up the courage to do just that, Cheng Xin proposes but in an unexpected move, Zheng Qian rejects her. Feeling that he hasn’t made any real accomplishments in his life or career, Zheng Gan doesn’t think the time is right to even consider marriage. Understanding where Zheng Qian is coming from, Cheng Xin offers to help him get a job at her family’s company, but Zheng Qian's pride refuses to allow him to accept.

It begins with a crush that turns into a romance between a physicist and a third year university student after they met because of a misunderstanding.

Mu Cheng He is getting his PhD in physics at Dong Hu College. When he was suddenly tasked with proctoring a college-level examination, he mistakenly accuses third-year student Xue Tong of cheating. Despite getting on each other's nerves at first, their interactions blossom into a schoolgirl's crush and a mutual attraction.

During her college days, Xue Tong meets three roommates - the icy beauty Zhao Xiao Tang, the bubbly Bai Lin and the gentle Song Qi Qi. The four girls with different personalities become lifelong friends. Over the years, there are people that are gone forever and things that can no longer be changed and these days become an exclusive memory.

On her first day of primary school, Yu Zhou Zhou falls down and thus gets to know a guy named Lin Yang. Lin Yang helps her adapt to school and the two become friends. Later, rumors spread and Lin Yang’s parents request of their son to stay away from Zhou Zhou. Having to deal with Lin Yang drifting apart from her, Zhou Zhou learns how to feign indifference. When entering high school, Zhou Zhou escapes from Lin Yang and her other former classmates and can finally breathe again. In the end, she manages to get into Zhen Hua senior high school. However, at Zhen Hua Zhou Zhou meets Lin Yang again. Zhou Zhou doesn’t know whether to be happy or sad. Several hardships await Zhou Zhou and Lin Yang during their high school time, which leads them to grow up. Will the two be able to find back to each other in the process?

When she meets Yu Huai again, will she choose the love she could never forget or will she choose Lu Xing He who pursued her all these years?
