In 1999, a general trading company in Tokyo celebrates because Shinkansen of Japan wins priority negotiating rights for the Taiwan High-Speed Rail. Tada Haruka has been working at the general trading company for 4 years and she is sent to Taiwan for work. When Tada Haruka was a university student, she visited Taiwan for the first time during the summer. During that time, she happened to meet a young Taiwanese man Eric and he showed her Taiwan for a day. She lost contact with him after that and she could not find him again. She then sealed away her thoughts about him in her mind. 6 years later, Tada Haruka arrives in Taiwan again.

This movie continues from where the drama left off. Hua Jia comes back from his military services and his relationship with Wei Qi is strained. Xin Yi later finds out that she's pregnant and Cun Xi's grandmother forces them to get married. Will a couple forced to marry for the sake of their unborn child find love with each other?

Cheerful delivery boy Tian Kuo (Eddie Peng) delivers lunchboxes to a local hearing-impaired swimming team. He holds a torch for hearing-impaired cutie Yang Yang (Ivy Chen), who's often at the pool to cheer on her older sister Xiao Peng (Michelle Chen). The girlfriend Ji Qing however has certain fears towards marriage due to her family background and in an attempt to test the loyalty of her boyfriend Hao Ming, she gets another woman to get close to her boyfriend, which eventually brought changes to their relationship.

Family should be warm, tight knit, and always stick together... Just like a rice ball. At least that's the goal for Mrs. Guan. Her husband, the very mellow, very optimistic Mr. Guan, is just happy to be brought along for the ride. Since the family is so close, every little issue deserves a family meeting in which Mrs. Guan's determination always becomes the final outcome.
