A CODA (child of deaf adult) student Eun Gyeol has hearing-impaired parents, but he has a gift for music. He is a model student by day and plays the guitar in a band at night. One day, he visits a mysterious musical instruments store and travels to a strange place. There, Eun Gyeol meets Yi Chan, Se Kyung and Cheong A. They form a band called "Watermelon Suga"r. Meanwhile, Yi Chan has a crush on Se Kyung, who is known as the "Cello Goddess" of Seowon Arts High School, and tries to win her heart.

A love story set in the seaside village of Gongjin.

Yoon Hye Jin, who works as a dentist, is a woman who has both beauty and brains. However, her life plan falls apart because of the tiny bit of righteousness in her heart, and after various obstacles, she moves to the seashore village Gongjin and meets Hong Doo Shik. She becomes curious about him. Hong Doo Shik is called Chief Hong by the local residents. He is officially unemployed, but he is a master of odd jobs who appears to help everyone in Gongjin with any situation they run into.

Joo Sung wants to be a fabulous action movie star like Jakie Chan, even though he is just an ordinary college student. One day Joosung meets a nerd, Chanyeol in the filmmaking class and they decide to making a film as a project. They found a threatening letter to prof Cha by chance during their project. "I know you are involved in the admission fraud. To keep this fact out of the press, put a bag of 30 million won in cash in the trash bin at the university waste disposal until tomorrow…" After reading this letter, Joosung decide to use this letter story to making his film. And all things getting massed up because of his plan.

An Eun Young is a new nurse teacher at school. She has a special ability to see jelly like monsters that are made from residue of human desire and she can also eradicate these jellies. She uses a toy knife and a BB gun to take out the jellies. She senses that a mysterious event takes place at her school.

Hong In Pyo is a Chinese language teacher at the same school. Hong In Pyo has a special energy. In order to protect the students, An Eun Young and Hong In Pyo work together to eradicate these jellies.

Jungho – a character that the audience does not know anything about – abandons Sohyun. She is now on her own, away from home, somewhere in a motel, trying to kill herself. Out of nowhere comes her saviour: a transgender woman called Jane, who helps Sohyun. It turns out that Jane looks after a group of young runaways; without hesitation, she invites the girl into her little ‘family’ and helps her settle. Everyone seems to be caring and loving; however, it all ends suddenly when Jane passes away; and yet again, Sohyun ends up on the street. While watching this part of the film, everything at first seems to be normal and real, but then the viewers see the girl with another group of people; with another ‘family’ that is run by a strong and brutal man, and where the hierarchy is measured by how much money you can get for the ‘family’ to survive on; Sohyun’s life in the second runaway home doesn’t end well either. Two different families, two different ways of living, which is real and which is the figment of Sohyun’s imagination? She longs for a happy home and imagines one, but which one does she actually end up in?

The film was made with the support of Korean Film Council’s Independent Film Fund and won the CGV Art-house Award at the 2016 BIFF.
