As a fictional period drama, this miniseries tells the story of a crown prince named Lee Sun who fights the Pyeonsuhwe society that holds absolute power over the kingdom and also controls the water supply by privatizing it. The drama involves romance, action and court politics as the Crown prince, Lee Sun fights heroically on behalf of the people and Han Ga Eun finds herself falling in love with him instead of avenging the execution of her father at his hands. In “The Emperor: Owner of the Mask,” there is palace intrigue revolving around the true power behind the throne, and a plot twist when the prince switches identities with a commoner. But the overall theme of the show is love, which underlies the romance between a prince and his girl as well as the compassion for the country and people.

A story focused around a woman who only has a limited amount of time left. The story unfolds as she unexpectedly meets her old love.

Knife and Flower, an action/spy/romance drama, is set in the Koguryo period. It is about how Moo Seol, the daughter of King Young Ryu, falls in love with Yeon Choong, the child Yeon Gaesomun had with a concubine. But Moo Young debates whether she should have her revenge, as Yeon Gaesomun is the man who killed her father.

Yeon Choong, was born between a father of noble blood and a servant mother. Despite his talent, he finds he cannot rise higher in rank due to the fact that he is a concubine′s son. He is later ordered by his father to kill the person he loves, he defies his father’s orders to murder the daughter and travels between his love for his prey and his fealty towards his father.

A four-part drama produced for the 100th anniversary of the occupation of Korea by Japan. Freedom Fighter, Lee Hoe Young will be the third and final instalment of a series of dramas by KBS that focus on noblesse oblige and famous individuals who sacrificed much to provide for their fellow countrymen.

Lee Hoe Young was an independence fighter who donated his savings and started a school for soldiers and scholars in China, but was later captured and tortured by the Japanese. Kimura Junpei is a Japanese reporter that he meets.

Chuno follows the story of Lee Dae Gil, a man of high birth, whose family was ruined when Won Ki Yoon, a slave, burnt down his house and escaped with his sister, Un Nyun, who was in love with Dae Gil. Driven by his desire for revenge, he survived his harsh years on the street and made his name as a slave hunter, dedicated in his pursuit to find Un Nyun, his first and only love. Song Tae Ha is a General of the Army who became a slave after being falsely accused of a crime he did not commit, and finds himself on the run from Dae Gil's relentless pursuit. Both men become entangled in a love triangle with Un Nyun, who is no longer a runaway slave, but Kim Hye Won, a nobleman's daughter.

A series of black garbage bags filled with dismembered body parts begin to show up around the city: in an elevator, on a highway, at the edge of a basketball court, and rendering the victims nearly impossible to identify. The killer's motive is a complete mystery. Leading the investigation is Detective Cho, a burnt-out cop trying to redeem himself with this case. Setting up a special squad dedicated to these gruesome murders, Cho and his partner, the veteran Detective Oh, map out the order of the murders, interchanging the parts like pieces in a grotesque puzzle. Mystified by the surgical precision of the dismemberments and finding a medical antiseptic called "Hexamedrin" spread all over the bodies, the detectives start suspecting a doctor or a biologist as the killer.

A break opens up when Cho is led to a beautiful and enigmatic young artist, Chae Su Yeon, whom all the victims have had relations with. But besides this revealing breakthrough, Cho is far from solving the case. Still not having found a motive, Cho is grasping for many clues. As the murders continue, Cho is drawn closer to Su Yeon and begins unravelling her tortured past, leading to new questions and suspects. Cho and Oh subsequently discover that her father, a famous painter, mysteriously disappeared years before. Cho decides to investigate her late college classmate and current colleague Ki Yeon, and her friend, Sung Min.

While Cho questions Ki Yeon, the fragile Su Yeon is attacked but manages to escape. After being released from police custody, Ki Yeon disappears, and the next morning Detective Cho is notified of the fourth murder. Under the rainy urban landscape of Korea's capital, another garbage bag is discovered on a highway. This time, the corpse is a head-less Ki Yeon.
