Li Yuran is a successful female lawyer who one day gets into an unfortunate accident on a highway. After the accident, she is forced to take on a new role as a housewife. The story follows her transformation from a single successful woman to a full-time housewife with her architect husband and two kids.

Best friends Meng Kerou and Lin Yuezhen are enjoying their high school days until Yuezhen persuades her comrade to do her a favour by chatting up Yuezhen's new crush, Zhang Shihao (Wilson Chen Bo-lin). All is well until he falls for Kerou instead. Adding to her dilemma are her secret feelings for her best friend and, consequently, Kerou's questions about her sexuality.

On Mother's Day in Taipei, Chen-Mo makes a date for dinner with his wife, hoping to bring their estranged relationship back together. While buying a cake on his way home, a car unexpectedly double parks next to his car, preventing his exit. For the entire night, Chen- Mo searches the floors of a nearby apartment building for the owner of the illegally parked car, and encounters a succession of strange events and eccentric characters...

The film begins with a famous doctor, Yan Guo, becoming extremely sick during the course of his studies. To save his life, his girlfriend Baobao makes an agreement with a mysterious creature; in exchange for the health of Yan Guo, she agrees to be turned into a butterfly for three years.

Yan Guo finally recovers from his illness and wakes up. He is confused and hurt by Baobao's disappearance, and in her absence, other women begin trying to attract his attention. Meanwhile, Baobao begins living her life as a butterfly but finds that the other insects will not associate with her, finding her too human.

Soon, a dangerous and infectious disease begins spreading on the island. Both Yan Guo and Baobao try their best during this time to help those around them. When the three years have passed, will they have a happy ending?

Petite but determined Yu Hing is working as a museum research assistant when a Japanese man, Tao, inquires about a piece of Chinese calligraphy entitled "The Cold Food Observance". Yu Ching sees an opportunity here both for romance and for the healing of her friendship with an emotionally repressed pal, Dong Heng, as the artwork is the center point of a book Dong is writing. However, Dong reacts with jealousy.
