Sayama Taku is a doctor and runs Sayama Kodomo Clinic, which specializes in child psychiatry. Even though his family owns a general hospital, he refuses to get involved in their general hospital. Instead, Sayama Taku has taken over the small clinic, located in the suburbs, which his aunt operated. His family views his behavior as an act of betrayal. Sayama Taku's personal reason for running the clinic is because he has ASD (autism spectrum disorder) and he understands the patients at his clinic more than anyone. He values the time he has to face the child patients.

Tono Shiho is a medical intern at Sayama Kodomo Clinic. When she worked as a medical intern in the pediatrics department of a university hospital, she kept getting into trouble and her preceptor finally told her to give up on becoming a pediatrician. Making things worse, she learned that she has ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder). She thought about giving up on becoming a doctor. At that time, Sayama Taku reached out to her and let her work at his clinic.

Three years ago, a disappearance case, known as the "Joker Case," was suddenly closed without being solved. She boasts a 100% success rate, and claims there is not a single person whose lies she has not been able to detect, and is called "Enma-sama" (King of Hades) by her colleagues because of her ability. She also proclaims herself a “forever 28” who seeks the perfect marriage partner. But even though detecting lies are her specialty, it's not always as easy as it would seem to get to the whole truth of a matter.

Nagatsu Ryoko, who belongs to the Agency for Cultural Affairs, is found dead in the mountain. One month ago, she discovered a Buddha statue at a mountain shrine. Her death seems accidental, caused by Ryoko slipping, but Itomura Satoshi determines that her death was not accidental.

Itomura Satoshi is back again, but in Kyoto and with a new team. He begins work at the 1st Investigation Division of the Kyoto Prefectural Police Station. The 1st investigation division with deals with the most difficult cases.

The Security Guard Center sets the stage for this drama that stars Mamoru Shinomiya, a newly-hired emergency responder. Together with his brilliant colleagues, all of whom have colorful personalities, they tackle one emergency after another with flying colors and restore the safety and security of their clients and the public.

Dokuryu Town, the town of the One-Eyed Dragon, Date Masamune, near Sendai City, has an ageing population and large outlets line the national highway. The shopping street that flourished has now become shuttered. Residents are anxious about the fate of the town. Meanwhile, Ono Kozo, the mayor of the town, solicits ideas to revitalise the town from young people such as 30-year-old Ito Tojiro (Watanabe Dai), who is the successor of a sake brewer. The usually timid Tojiro’s trump card is his suggestion that the town hold a bridal procession. They will reenact the bridal procession when Masamune’s lawful wife, Mego-hime married into the family. All those present get excited as they imagine a historical procession of Miyagi’s hero, Masamune, and the beautiful Mego-hime, wearing gorgeous clothes. But Tojiro has another objective. He will play the role of Masamune and take advantage of this opportunity to propose to his childhood friend, Otokozawa Miki (Kuriyama Chiaki). However, strangely dressed men who idolise the One-Eyed Dragon apply to participate. They brandish swords and intimidate their surroundings. This outrageous behaviour infuriates the few women around who end up leaving. It develops into an emergency situation where it becomes necessary for the men to dress as women for the roles of the bride and her attendants to pull off the bridal procession. Many men get cold feet and flee when Ono appears with make-up, urging them that they have no choice but to do this in order to revive the town. There are a mere five remaining members including Ono and Tojiro. They learn Masamune’s teachings on fortitude as they start rigorous domestic training such as make-up, feminine behaviour and dance. However, contrary to Tojiro’s wishes, the male bridal procession gets thrown into extreme chaos …

After a failed relationship, Nobuko puts her all into dieting and finds success. She begins to work for her favorite fashion magazine, and just when her new life is falling into place she meets Taiichi, a handsome patissier. However, when Nobuko eats cakes, she can't stop - moreover, if she gains weight, she'll be fired. In the end, will Nobuko rebound...?

Sawano has lost his job due to depression and isn't on good terms with his wife and 6-year-old son. After a failed suicide attempt, he discovers 7 letters which had not been delivered and sets out to give them to their intended recipients in a way of counting down to the end of his life.

Kohei and Keisuke work with the government and Tojo Medical University as Trinity. The project is to create a new technological system to determine cause of death. They then receive a threatening letter. The letter warns that the Kerberos Tower and Tojo Medical University will be blown up. Meanwhile, a group of people die. Kohei and Keisuke are unable to determine the cause of death through autopsy.

Meet Kita Yoshio, a very unlucky man who has chosen his close friend's death anniversary as his suicide date, which is 11 days away. Yokai are major figures of Japanese folklore, spirits that occupy virtually everything in the world around us. Some, such as the turtle-like Kappa, are relatively well known, but there are hundreds of others, maybe even thousands. They are the spiritual element of everything in the world around us, and as such they deserve to be treated with respect. But humanity isn't much good at respect. We consume, destroy, wear out and discard with no thought to anything but ourselves, a situation very distressing to the yokai, so distressing that the villainous Kato - accompanied by his deadly assistant Agi, played by Battle Royale and Kill Bill's Chiaki Kuriyama - has concocted an extreme response.
