    Nearby police stations located in the Seoul districts of Mapo and Seodaemun are usually compared to each other and, consequently, has developed a rivalry. The chief at the Mapo police station is Hwang Jae Sung, who is fearless when it comes to catching criminals and uses any means necessary. To top the Mapo station, the Seodaemun police station appoints its new leader Jung Ui Chan, who graduated from the prestigious police academy. An award for "officer of the year" is given out to the officer able to apprehend the most criminals. The award also comes with a 30 million Won cash prize.

    Hwang Jae Sung wants to receive the award as he wants a promotion and did not graduate from the police university. Jung Ui Chan also badly wants to win the award for the prize money involved - his girlfriend is pregnant. For this award, the two rivals compete even more fiercely. A serial rapist case then occurs, causing both stations to work together. The outcome hangs in the air.

    “The Devil” is a story about two men who were predestined to confront each other over a tragic incident that happened when they were young, and a woman who has psychometric powers.     The murder case that begins with an afterimage of one girl is completely ignored and closed quickly because of the girl’s preposterous testimony. Twelve years later, detective Kang Oh-soo (played by Um Tae-woong) receives a taro card meaning “judgment” and a letter. A brutal game begins between the culprit and the victim of the case, which began as a trivial incident 12 years ago but has snowballed into a big tragedy, and a mysterious witness.

    Based on the true story Park Kyung-Won, one of the first Korean female pilots.

    Park Kyung-Won dreamed of flying since she was a little kid. To achieve her dream of becoming a pilot, Kyung-Won, at the age of 26, travelled to Japan and enrolled in an aviation school. While studying at the aviation school, she supported herself by driving a taxi. One day, Kyung-Won picks up a male passenger, who turns out to be a Korean exchange student Ji-Hyeok. Ji-Hyeok is attracted to her and what she was trying to accomplish. Although he begins to court Kyung-Won, Ji-Hyeok leaves to enlist in the army.

    A few years later, Kyung-Won flies her first flight and becomes a pilot. Her accomplishment is well received Korea. Meanwhile, Kyung-Won takes under her wings, fellow female Korean aviation student Jung-Hee, who wants to follow in Kyung-Won's footsteps. Also, Ji-Hyuk is discharged from the army and is commissioned as a officer in a aviation school. Ji-Hyuk and Kyung-Won meet again and soon realize their feelings are as strong as ever.

    Eventually Kyung-Won hopes to take part in a long-distance flight to her home country of South Korea ...
