All the boys who were targets these of terror attacks become national stars. They were at first annoyed by these attacks but, on the other hand they think that getting attacked can prove that they are the best looking guy, so they end up trying hard to get attacked and happily covered with foul-smelling dung. The Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils is an upcoming Chinese television series adapted from Louis Cha's novel Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils. It is produced by the companies Zhejiang Hua Ce Media and Dong Yang Da Qian Media, and directed by Hong Kong television series director Lai Shui-ching. Filming started on 10 November 2012 and the series is expected to be released in 2013.

Early in his reign, King Se Jong accidentally causes the death of his in-laws and their slaves in an attempt to save them from his brutal father, King Tae Jong. King Tae Jong killed Jeong Do Jeon and all of his family except his nephew, Jeong Gi Joon, who is now the leader of Hidden Root and lives in disguise not far from King Se Jong.
