Off the southern coast of the Korean Peninsula, an island of 17 inhabitants exists. The so-called Paradise Island holds up to its name with its breath-taking mountains and sea coupled with good-natured people. No worries or stress holds for anyone who comes to visit this beautiful oasis. But this peace doesn’t last long as every single one of the inhabitants disappear one day without a single trace. Chaos initially breaks out when a blood-drenched corpse is found and everyone becomes a suspect. The furious sea allows them no boat ride to the mainland and their only existing radio communication device has been smashed. Trapped together on the island, everyone is suspicious of each other and even the unseen could be a possible suspect. As hideous secrets get revealed day by day, an island of paradise slowly turns into an island of death.

Bo Eun is an ordinary high school girl who worries about SAT's and has a crush on her school's baseball team ace, named Jung Woo.

One day, Bo Eun's grandfather orders her to marry Sang Min. When they were very young, Bo Eun's and Sang Min's grandfathers had promised that they would become in-laws.

Despite their opposition, they are forced to marry because of the strong influence of Bo Eun's grandfather. Bo Eun's undercover married life begins: She pretends that she doesn't have a husband and starts dating Jung Woo. Bo Eun believes that she can manage both men and live a double life.

Everything goes smoothly until Sang Min visits Bo Eun's school as a student teacher.

An ordinary high school student, Min Ah lives with her mother who occasionally acts like a child. Min Ah is a shy girl who does not have a lot of friends. Min Ah's mother prematurely assumes that Min Ah has a new boyfriend, and Young Jae simply goes along with her. One day, Min Ah falls for one of Young Jae's tricks.

On her first day in class, things suddenly turn interesting when she meets Moon Soo, a well dressed womanizer, who is infatuated with his Australian English teacher Catherine. Moon Soo does not notice Young-Joo because of her ordinary appearance, but Young Joo takes matter into her own hands to gain his attention. As Young Joo and Moon Soo become closer, Young-Soo soon discovers a picture in his wallet of another girl.

On a space station in the not-too-distant future, two guests arrive early for a wedding, and the older tells the younger a story about the groom's father, who had been a well-known entertainer, and his selfish wife. The story, which starts in Seoul in 2002, is a bizarre love triangle of a comedian who never smiles, a Taekwondo instructor, and a whining woman who wants to be a TV star but who'll do anything to avoid being poor.

A gum-popping student wearing a very short uniform and a weird hair-do is looking for 'zzang', the school boss. She turns out to be the new teacher, Choi Eun-soo, who was trying to get a grasp of situation in the classroom. Eun-soo has been sacked from numerous schools due to her eccentricity and too-strong dedication to teaching. She finally meets her match in Yeong-hee, the troublemaker in her class. Unable to deal with Yeong-hee who lives to rebel, Eun-soo finally decides to call her parents.

"The Blue House, how may I help you?"

What?!? The Blue House?!? Then Young-hee lives in the Blue House? Yes, Young-hee turns out to be a First Daughter, who is being raised by Han Min-wook, the popular president with his good looks and integrity. But Eun-soo is not deterred by the title. This is the beginning of the battle between Eun-soo and Min-wook, the president and also a parent.

Kang Jo, a charismatic game programmer becomes weary about his successful life, and transforms into a thief equipped with hi-tech devices. One day, he sneaks into Sang Tae's home. Sang Tae, eager to protect his family, does everything possible to calm their fears, but in spite of his efforts, he loses his face and dignity in front of his family when he lets the thief slip right under his nose. Sang Tae now becomes desperate as the confidence as a father and husband is about to collapse, but he has some surprises hidden under his sleeve.

Jin Young, a very open-minded and energetic woman, worked for the Seoul Hotel. Her ex-boyfriend Tae Joon resigned and had left for Vegas three years earlier due to an unfortunate incident w/ a guest. The owner of the hotel had always believed in Tae Joon even more so than his own son, Young Jae. When he died of a heart attack, his wife realized that Jin Young must go to Vegas to bring Tae Joon back so he could help run the hotel, which was falling into pieces. Their rival, Kim Book Man (Han Jin Hee), was determined to acquire the Seoul Hotel.
