An action crime film set in the 1970s in a small, peaceful village by the sea where two women get unexpectedly caught up in a high-stakes smuggling scheme.

Within the palace exist troublemaking princes who cause nothing but headaches for the royal family and are about to be turned into proper crown princes. Sim Eun Seok is an elite judge with a prickly personality who hates juvenile offenders. After she gets assigned to a local juvenile court, she tries to balance her aversion to minor offenders with firm beliefs on justice and punishment, as she goes out of her way to break custom and administer her own ways of punishing the offenders.

Set in a small, rural town, the show is about two friends, actors running a supermarket for 10 days. They not only sell goods, but also operate small restaurants, where they cook and serve dishes. The two actors, who lives their whole lives in the city, experience life in the small town and blend into the neighborhood.

The story begins with a detective named Hyun Soo, who traces a girl who disappeared to the edge of a cliff with only one suicide note left on the night of the typhoon.

The Director doesn’t schedule an emergency summit until 10 days later but does it without notifying the public of the situation. Shi Hyun urges for the crisis to be announced in order to warn people of the looming disaster, but her plea is ignored. The summit is held behind closed doors.

Jung Hak, a financial consultant, notices Korea is suddenly hemorrhaging foreign funds, and he learns the reason is that international finance firms have ordered an all-out investment withdrawal from the country, which has caused the credit rating to plummet. He hands in his resignation and decides to play the odds on what he’s sure is a coming crisis. He secretly starts gathering investors willing to do the same.

Gap Su, a family man who runs a small tableware factory, has a big break and wins a contract with a department store. The fact that the price settlement terms equal to little more than a promissory note concern him only briefly, and oblivious to the looming financial upheaval, Gap Su signs the contract.

Fifteen years ago, a young girl was kidnapped on the way from school, and Park Hae Yeong, who was an elementary school student at that time, witnessed the crime. A few days later, the girl was found dead, and the police were not able to find the culprit. As time went by, Hae Yeong started distrusting the police.

Fifteen years later, Hae Yeong is now a police officer and criminal profiler. One day, he finds a walkie-talkie that allows him to get in contact with Detective Lee Jae Han who is in the past. Police officers Hae Yeong, Jae Han, and Cha Soo Hyun then set out on a journey to solve cold cases.

Western Seoul train station, 1996. A baby is thrown into a coin locker. She is picked up by a beggar, who names her Il Yeong. When she turns 10, she is sold off to a woman referred to simply as Mother. She is raised by remorseless loan sharks until she is 18 years old, by which time she has become Mother's trusted right hand. One day, Il Yeong is given a task: to stay close to Suk Hyun, the son of a debtor. Over the course of a few days, she becomes friends with the boy and is exposed to a world she never knew existed. A woman suddenly appears at Jae-su's house. Nothing in her hands, nowhere to go, the woman's empty eyes meet with round eyes of the eleven year-old boy. He regards the woman as another person who'll leave and does not put any effort into getting to know her. Every chance he finds, the boy scolds the woman, saying she eats too much, sleeps like a pig and uses up all of the utilities. The two of them are neck and neck with complaints until she learns of the boy's sad history and he discovers her diabetes. The boy has already had 10 stepmothers in the past. Out of the blue the boy's father shows up and begins beating the boy. She tries to stop him and they find themselves on common ground. A warm relationship between the two begins to build up slowly, not aware of the eventual separation that is just around the corner.

Kick the Moon is about two high school students from a small-city high-school. One is a fighter who is involved in a legendary street-fight with a rival school, the other is a geeky wimp who loves to study and is one of the only students to not participate in the fight. Years later, the punk has grown to be a teacher in the high-school he attended and the nerd has become a mafia underboss and has returned to his hometown to set up operations. The movie revolves around the two men's rivalry for the affections of a local lady restaurant owner and the fighting of rival gang factions in the small city

This story is about three people, Jae Ho, Shi Yung and Suk Ho. Jae Ho and his sister Jae Young are abandoned by their mother to escape poverty. Because of this, Jae Ho doesn't understand what love is. And so, he has a dream of becoming rich, thinking that there is no such thing as love, only money. He works hard his whole life while supporting himself and his sister through college. He works at a seafood wholesale market selling crabs to vendors. He lives with his aunt who has taken him and his sister in after their mother abandoned them.

With his big dreams and ambitions, he pretends to be rich while in school, in order to gain the attention of Hyun Su, who is from a very rich family. Thus, he tries to get her to like him so he can marry into her family and become rich. But during this process, he falls in love with his Psychology teacher, Shi Yung. He battles with his feelings and his ambitions, and ultimately picks love over money. Even though they go through hardship, he realizes that he couldn't survive without both, and so he gives up on Shi Yung for money and wishes her happiness.

Mysterious intern neurosurgeon Dr. Kang saves three young patients, even though the surgeries should not have saved the patients. Chief physician Dr. Lee becomes skeptical of the results, so he sends videotapes of the surgery to America for analysis.

Dr. Lee's niece, who is an anesthesiologist, Dr. Pyo Ji Soo has strong feelings for Ji Min but keeps it to herself.

One day, Oh Sae Yun suffers from a brain tumour and is admitted to the hospital. Sae Yun becomes involved in a hostage situation in the hospital, in which Dr. Ji Min saves her. Since that time, Sae Yun becomes interested in Dr. Kang.

Sae Yun follows Dr. Kang, who leaves the hospital late at night, and discovers Dr. Kang's secret. Sae Yun, on the condition of keeping quiet about Dr. Kang's secret, starts to date Dr. Kang. With the outcome of the tape analysis from America, Dr. Pyo discovers that Dr. Kang treats patients with his energy. The spirit of Dr. Kang's mother then askes Dr. Pyo to take care of her son.

MBC TV's weekend drama, "Song of the Han River" is a story of life and love involving a vibrant middle-aged woman, her two daughters, a niece, a nephew, and a cast of other characters surrounding them. The woman, named Kim Yeong Hui, is a widow who sells fish to support her family. Through their often turbulent lives, we are able to experience the difficulties of a not uncommon family and the persistence of the love its members have for one another. "Song of the Han River" is a warm but enervating story of ordinary people dealing with the normal difficulties of life. To bring about a sort of renaissance in MBC's weekend drama offerings, "Song of the Han River" ambitiously reunited the team of Kim Jeong Su and Choi Jong Su from the popular MBC drama "You and I" for the first time in 6 years. Planning and preparations for this new presentation were undertaken from May 2004, and the target audience ranged from those in their early 30s to those in their 50s.
