A melodramatic fantasy in which two women from Joseon Dynasty, belonging from a noble family, become intertwined with men through time travel to the year 2023, the present.

After being jobless for three years, Choi Joon Woong decides to take his own life and goes to a bridge to jump off of it. However, he finds someone else there who is also about to jump off the bridge and gets into a fight trying to save them. In the fight, the two of them accidentally fall off the bridge. A crisis management team run by grim reapers belatedly arrives at the scene, and Choi Joon Woong ends up falling into a three-year coma with his soul having escaped his body due to an error caused by the grim reapers. Now a soul who is half alive and half dead, he unexpectedly gets a job at the crisis management team at the most prominent company of grim reapers in the underworld. His job at the team involves taking special care of people with high risk of suicide and helping them want to continue living.

To gain experience for the role, Oh Yoon-Seo is required to work as a lawyer's secretary for a few months. Meanwhile, Kwon Jung-Rok is an attorney for a law firm. He is arrogant and cold-hearted. One day, his boss asks Kwon Jung-Rok to let actress Oh Yoon-Seo work as his secretary for 6 months. He is not happy about the situation, but he has to accept.

"Dokgo Rewind" is based on webtoon of the same name, and it is prequel to the webtoon "Dokgo". The story begins one year before "Dokgo" (before Kang Hyuk seeks revenge for his twin brother). This drama is inspired by the life of South Korean Olympic weightlifter gold-medalist Jang Mi Ran and it’s about college athletes who fighting for their dreams and finding love.

Kim Bok Joo (Lee Sung Kyung) is a student in Hanwool College of Physical Education. She has shown strength like no other since she was a child as influenced by her former weight lifter father. She looks thoughtless at a first glance, but inside she’s as fragile as glass and has deep recognition.

Jung Joon Hyung (Nam Joo Hyuk) is Kim Bok Joo’s best friend. He is a born swimmer but ever since he was disqualified from his first international event, he suffers from ‘start trauma’. Along with Kim Bok Joo, he overcomes his troubles and finds his dream and love.
