In a society in which justice is awfully subjective, and the possibility of finding the truth is so complicated, detective Yugami simply chases after the facts of various cases. He will casually approach potential suspects and talk to them in order to attain new information. All he is looking for are the facts. He feels that there is no point in following the rules, nor trying to read the atmospheres of the environment he's in. For him, resorting to unique and illegal investigations is not out of the ordinary. To assist him, he also has a sidekick, Torao Hanyu, who's a serious detective with a completely different personality. For Yugami, he simply wants to arrest as many criminals as possible through his illegal investigation style, so Torao's existence becomes a bother for him. Two detectives with absolutely nothing in common, somehow try to combine their skills in order to combat the enemies of society.

Date Kazuyoshi (Sakai) is a detective on the Kanagawa prefectural police force. During the day, he is known as a "Buddha" for his gentle personality, pouring all of his energy into resolving each case. Ryuhei Shimada is a detective for the Investigation Unit 1 at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. He always stays cool and calm, but he has a spiteful tongue. Ryuhei Shimada decides to apply for the new school police system and he is assigned to work at Akamine Middle School. That school looks like an ordinary middle school, but there are dark problems at the school including drug use and secret shootings. Meanwhile, Ryoko Asamura is a Japanese language teacher at Akamine Middle School. She is opposed to the school police system. She always takes the side of the students and finds herself in conflict Ryuhei Shimada.

More and more problems are created by the popularity of social media. In response to these problems caused by social media's influence, the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department creates the Yubitai Department. Detectives, including Wataru Banjo, are assigned to work there. The detectives in the Yubitai Department are far from those thought to be on the path of success in the police detective. One day, a middle aged woman visits the newly formed department. She tells them that her daughter committed suicide.

Juken Sentai Gekiranger: Gyun-Gyun! Fist Sage Great Athletic Meet is a DVD special of Juken Sentai Gekiranger given out with the December issue of Terebi Magazine. After their latest win, the three Gekirangers find the Kensei stretching for their annual Kensei Great Athletic Meet. Jan, wanting to win the gold medal and a year's supply of Terebi magazines, joins the Red Team (Sharkie, Bat, Elehung) to go against the White Team (Sha-Fu and the Master Triangle). With Retsu as judge and Ran as moderator, the contest starts with the dunking match, as clips of the training results of Bat Li, Elehung, and Sharkie are shown, ending with the white Team winning by default. In the second match, a horse-riding match, the White Team had the advantage due to the Master Triangle's teamwork, with clips of their training results shown. But due to the banana Gorie dropped prior to the match starting, the Red Team wins. In the tie breaker, a one-on-one Sumo match between Gorie and Sharkie. But neither refuse to lose, using the Double-Double Clone Fist to take their fight outside SCRTC. Sharkie's attacks have no effect until he managed to use Gorie's strength to make the win for the red team. Despite the White Team's losing, Sha-Fu steals the magazines, with the red team and the Gekirangers in pursuit. After Sha-Fu is disciplined, seeing he needs more training himself, the DVD ends with a clip show of the series from Lessons 1 to 35.
