Sakuraba Mio, a newcomer assigned to the Department of General Surgery at the prestigious Seirei Medical University Hospital, is neither a doctor nor a nurse but her job as a nurse aide makes her the closest person to the patients. Mio is not only a caring person but also a medical geek, so she often sticks her nose into the doctor's examination and gets into trouble with other hospital staff.

Meanwhile, the skilled handsome surgeon Ryuzaki Taiga thinks that a doctor's skill is everything to make a successful surgery. Taiga's complete opposite belief from Mio makes them often clash with each other.

He eventually became a founder or supporter to about 500 companies and was involved with about 600 public services, including education for women.

Ouga’s true aim is to make Koyama and Hagi fight and capture the country. Tadakiyo leaves Yui behind and heads to the castle where the advance guard is in order to stop this senseless war. High school students Tobio, Maru, Isami, and 20-year-old Paisen, who graduated from high school a long time ago are contented with their lives. One day their ordinary routine completely changes. Tobio and the rest plant a home-made bomb at the school next door in revenge for Maru’s vicious beating at the hands of delinquents. However, the bomb which was only intended to shock the delinquents, ends up causing a huge explosion that claims many victims including friends and seniors. This triggers the start of their life on the run.

Set in Nishinari Ward of Osaka City and features Hayashi as a hairstylist who clashes with his father who operates a beauty salon. Through the conflicts, the two of them gradually come to terms with their differences and the son rediscovers the charm of the town where he was born and raised.

Despite the short distance, it is necessary to change trains and take a circuitous route. There are women living in each of these towns who waver over love that has not turned out as they wish such as one-sided love, domestic violence, and affairs. Like “neighbors” who have to go a long way around, their relationships are loosely connected. They are somehow only able to see each other’s appearances maybe because of the nature of these relationships and then wonder why things are not going well for them personally. They worry and compare with others but still wish to look ahead.
