Hasebe Sosuke is the deputy editor-in-chief for the Japanese version of the fashion magazine "The Most" which is released in 30 countries worldwide. He is an unfriendly and cool rationalist. He's been transferred from the New York branch to complete a particular mission. When he was young, he was fat and often bullied. Now a handsome elite, he strives to meet his first love again. On the other hand, Sato Ai is unemployed and living with her best friend. After her company went bankrupt, she's eventually hired as a helper. She's a cheerful, energetic, and honest person. In her youth, she was a beautiful honor student who has now grown into a self-conscious person. Although she meets Sosuke again, she doesn't want to reveal her identity.

To fight against the rise in criminal organizations, the Hyogo Prefectural Police have created a secret infiltration squad, the ´D-Team’, whose members are called ‘divers’. When infiltrating dangerous criminal organizations, they are often putting their lives at risk. The team’s best diver is Kurosawa , who’s known for being ruthless when apprehending criminals , but on occasion, will reveal his nicer side to others.

28-year-old Sho Himonya (Masataka Kubota) is passionate about two things in his life: one is to love his girlfriend Yuriko Kasuga (Haruna Kawaguchi) and the other thing is to not work. One day, he gets kicked out of his parents' home. He moves in with his girlfriend Yuriko who is 26-years-old and works as a nurse. She works hard and struggles to change Sho.

Sayaka Minami works as a designer for a company. She is 30-years-old, single and has not had any love experience due to her 15 year unrequited love for Ryosuke Sagisawa. They have been friends since they were kids.

One day, Sayaka wakes up and a strange man is in front of her. She panics and the man introduces herself as Shohei Machida. He works as a salesman at the same company as Sayaka. He tells her that they are in a relationship and live together. Sayaka lost her memory for 3 months.

Hatoko (Mikako Tabe) goes back to her hometown of Kamakura for the first time in 8 years. She has inherited her grandmother's store "Tsubaki Stationery Store." The store actually functions to write beautiful letters on behalf of its clients. At first, Hatoko, being new to the business, seems like a rookie, but she begins to display her talent for writing letters. She gets more requests.

In June 2015, Kyogoku suddenly woke up after being in a coma for 30 years due to an accident during an investigation. It has been a year since he and the young detective, Mochizuki Ryota of Yokohama Chuo Police Precinct, drove the violent criminal called Kagura as well as the organisation Kyogoku was pursuing 30 years ago to destruction and closed this chapter from the past. Kyogoku and Ryota are still living together in the same place. Although Ryota and Yui have been dating for close to a year, Kyogoku stubbornly refuses to approve their relationship. In this one year, Kyogoku and Ryota have led the police in solving numerous heinous crimes. Ryota has also undergone an unbelievable transformation from a year ago. Remake of German TV series "The Last Cop" (Der letzte Bulle) [2010].

A mysterious virus suddenly spreads throughout Japan causing widespread panic. People infected with the virus are called ZQN. The ZQN attack people with superhuman strength and their victims also become ZQN. Hideo Suzuki happens to meet a female high school student, Hiromi Hayakari. They run away from the city together, but Hiromi has been already bitten by a baby ZQN. The baby ZQN that bit her did not have teeth and Hiromi is in half state of ZQN. They then meet Nurse Yabu at a shelter. Yabu hopes she can draw an antibody from Hiromi.

Risa Kurihara (Nana Katase) works as a manager for a Mexican restaurant in Osaka, Japan. She is also studying to become a lawyer. Risa recovered from severe money problems in her past and decides to open up a small financial counseling booth in restaurant. She wants to help others overcome what she did. The first person to appear at her booth is Shigeru Takeuchi (Kazutoyo Koyabu). He eventually helps Risa with her financial consultations.

This drama depicts the harsh reality of those at the bottom of society through the eyes of the loanshark Ushijima. He is the head of Kaukau Finance which is a ruthless black market lending operation, charging as much as 50% interest every ten days.

Yamaguchi Rika works for a record company. She has the worst birthday of her life when she is cheated of her money by a former boyfriend. An older woman dressed in a leopard print dress suddenly appears in front of her with white smoke. This older woman identifies herself as Rika from 20 years into the future. Small and medium subcontractor production companies currently support the TV industry. Chocolate TV is one such company with 20 employees. It undertakes various productions such as varieties, documentaries and dramas. The height of glory of the TV industry is already a thing of the past. Like any ordinary company, they have to be careful of key networks and sponsors as well as struggle to keep alive amidst the meager budgets and tough viewership ratings race. Chocolate TV’s president Aramaki Genjiro worked in the industry as a variety programme director and built the company in one generation. The programmes he takes on all have issues. Each time, his employees would unite, devote themselves to producing a programme and ride out the hardships of the TV world.

Under the rule of Shogun Ienari, the samurais and the townspeople are all discontented and grumbling about their lot in life. Amidst all these, there lives a man by the name of Jirokichi, popularly known as Nezumi Kozo. Jirokichi runs a bar with the help of his sister, Kosode. Yonekura Ryoko plays a 35 year old woman who mysteriously goes back to high school as a student.

Two prisoners managed to escape after the police truck carrying them crashed. One of them ,is a gangster. The other called "Otowa YonKo" - our protagonist - is a con artist whose cheats money from criminals or terrorists. Accidentally, "Otowa Yonko" then becomes the new teacher for the nearby high school, under the new name "Hachisuka Goro", and according to a deal of "Hammer Session" with the headmaster.

The story begins on the heels of the first movie as Light Yagami joins the investigation team in pursuit of the serial killer known as "Kira." Confusingly enough, a new rash of murders all around the world are taking place, with a "Second Kira" claiming responsibility. Investigations on a mysterious woman Toko started when Sonoe, a teacher and Toko's fellow faculty member, was found dead as a result of what seemed to be an unfortunate accident. Eiki, an insurance investigator, and Takeshi, an ambitious police detective, find links between this case and the deaths of Toko's 3 fiances, and are determined to uncover the truth.
