Sakeno Sei, working for "Hate Alcohol" firm, receives an application for the “Hate Alcohol Program” from the president of a company. Therefore, for various reasons and facts, "50 people with bad drinking habits" gather to take the program, but those who are not disciplined continue to drink and cause problems. Sakeno decides to impose an intense program on them.

A train station attendant falls in love with the wife of the son of a powerful community leader. When Yoshimori sees how unhappy Kahori is in her new marriage, he impulsively runs away with her and her 9-year-old daughter. But nowhere are they able to find peace, for her husband is always just a step behind them.

When the Inoue family just moves into their new residence, they are shocked to see everyone there so anxious about getting their children into good schools. In order not to be the one left out, they also join in the crowd and train their child hard to score well in the primary school entrance exam. Interestingly, their next door neighbor has a kid same age as theirs and always likes to compete with them. This makes the whole exam process more exciting and stressful, of course.
