Continuation of Big White Duel. The story revolves around the doctors' emergency relief, the discussion of medical reform issues, hospital politics, disagreements, friendships, and love among the medical staff at Marshall Paxton Hospital.

This drama is based on the Hong Kong TV industry in the 1980s, featuring characters who were TV artists in that era and how they later worked their way to become Hong Kong TV's future superstars.

Rewind to Wai Tak Shun’s childhood days and Tak Shun is devastated due to his father Wai King Yan’s death. He then has mood swings and loses interest in everything. He even completely forgets about his father. For Tak Shun’s sake, his mother Tse Mei Sheung and uncle Tse Tim Sing never mention King Yan’s death.

Fate brings Tak Shun and Fung Cho Yee, who is the daughter of some second-hand store owner, together. She notices Tak Shun seems to be able to detect the resonances of old things. Tak Shun and Cho Yee help many people deal with their worries as Tak Shun reveals hidden tales through bizarre objects in the store.

Tak Shun is led by some old object to eventually uncover the truth behind his father’s death, and he has to again endure the pain of yesteryear.

The duo and their son Man Cheuk-fung (Matthew Ho) become fellow apprentices. Junior master Wah Ko (James Ng) gets involved with the trio, resulting in an intriguing foursome. Meanwhile, everybody gets anxious as certain secrets about the Mans are revealed and Cheuk-fung is abruptly taken away. At the brewery, Kai-shan’s younger brothers Kai-shek (Timothy Cheng), Kai-tsun (Gary Chan) and Kai-kong (Tsui Wing) want to divide the family fortune. And even outsider General Ko Shiu-wing (Andrew Yuen) is plotting to get his hands on a piece of the pie. With a 100-year history, Man Koon Brewery’s future is in doubt as it gets into such a precarious situation.

Urban legends, seemingly true yet seemingly fantastical, connect the past and future. Folklore professor Rosina Lam encounters locals being haunted when she is researching the legend of Bride's Pool. She discovers that someone is using the legends to commit crimes. She investigates with reporter Edwin Siu and they reveal the secret past of bride-to-be Moon Lau.

Rosina's mentor has been missing for seven years; his son turns out to be Edwin. The two of them decide to finish her mentor's unfinished paper on Hong Kong's urban legends. During their research, they encounter cases that are similar to the legends. They begin to think that her mentor's disappearance is suspicious. As they investigate, Rosina and Edwin meet police officer Jonathan Cheung, whose family happens to be the main characters in the legend of the fox spirit killing an infant. Rosina is asked to investigate the incident from years ago, which ends up leading her to her mother's pawnshop! At this time, Edwin discovers that his father is still alive.

She is an outstanding student, but after she completes her pupillage, she turns on him and frequently opposes him in court. Fong Yi Yan conceals the fact that she has multiple personality disorder. Because of sudden personality switches, Fong Yi Yan often has embarrassing moments in court, which is the source of much laughter. The only person who knows about the origins of Fong Yi Yan's disorder is her mother, Fong Wah Yee Sze. Unfortunately, Fong Wah Yee Sze refuses to talk about the past. Meanwhile, Lei Dung Kwai becomes good friends with Fong Yi Yan's alter egos. In order to eliminate a future cause of trouble, Fong Yi Yan is determined to make them disappear.

During a high-speed motorboat chase with a criminal, Cheung Chau police officer Wong Tai Mui gets herself trapped in a waterspout, accidentally opening a time portal. She travels back 200 years to 19th century Hong Kong, a time when the island was under Qing rule. She encounters a family of Canton pirates, led by Cheng Yat, his wife Shek Giu, and their adopted son Cheung Po Tsai. Using her knowledge of the future, which she keeps in a smartphone, she saves the pirates from a deadly naval battle against the Qing naval fleet led by Prince Man Ho, the eleventh son of the Jiaqing Emperor. Puzzled by her mysterious origins, Cheng Yat and Shek Giu remain wary of Tai Mui and are hesitant in trusting her.

At Beijing's Imperial Palace, Imperial Consort Yim and Imperial Consort Shun manipulate Man Ho to get themselves into a position of a higher power. Jaded from politics and family feud, Man Ho decides to let go of his ambition for the crown and flees the palace.

On the day the tiangou covers the sun, another waterspout appears over the Canton sea. Cheung Po Tsai helps Tai Mui open the time portal so she can return to 21st century Hong Kong, but in doing so he also falls into the portal, traveling to the future with her.

Interior designer Moses Chan and wealthy heir Evergreen Mak open a design company together. Looking to start a family with his girlfriend Oceane Zhu, Moses has already bought a home and is just waiting for her to finish her education abroad. However, his sister Angelina Lo rents out the property to Joyce Koi, a well-known opera performer, without his permission. Unable to cancel the rental agreement, Moses looks for ways to drive Joyce away, but her manager, Louise Lee, stands firm. The two sides are at war with each other until Evergreen suddenly decides to pursue Joyce. In order to help Evergreen win her heart, Moses must get to know her better. In the process, they become friends and even develop a subtle bond. Soon after, Joyce is involved in a car accident and reunites with her biological mother, Evergreen cancels the wedding, and Oceane is discovered to have returned to Hong Kong already but with another boyfriend... Plan usually cannot catch up to changes. Is life like a play or does a play reflect reality?
