When his boss Dae jung goes missing in a ship accident, the company sends Woo joo to Osaka to finish his business. Gong Woo Jin and Woo Seo Ri then get involved with each other and fall in love.

This drama follows the lives of two men and a woman through two eras: one during the 1930s Japanese occupation of Korea and the other in the 21st century. The three main characters are:

(1) Han Se Joo who was a writer in his past life and a bestselling author in the present. But Se Joo is depressed with writer’s block so he can't write his next book.

(2) Yu Jin Oh owned a bar in his previous life. In 2017 he is a talented ghostwriter who can bail Se Joo out of his predicament, but the mysterious man has a condition for his services. Se Joo may not be able to meet it.

The first stage of the show involves each of the five musical directors turned away from the stage as they listen, but cannot see, various children auditioning for the TV program. Musical director Yoo Il-Han then selects a child named Young-Kwan (Ji Dae-Han), who turns out to be a half Filipino-Korean child. Once the first episode of the TV show program ends, Yoo Il-Han berates an assistant director of the TV program. He's furious he was allowed to pick a child, that he assumes has no chance of playing King Jungjo and blowing his chance to work on Broadway. Making matters worse for Yoo Il-Han, Young-Kwan possesses zero dancing abilities. Unable to change his selection, Yoo Il-Han half-heartedly begins to train Young-Kwan. He then begins to see something special in the child.

Jong-Dae (Lee Min-Ho) and Yong-Ki (Kim Rae-Won) grew up in an orphanage like real brothers. After they leave the orphanage, they make a living by picking up paper and empty bottles. Jong-Dae then becomes involved in a struggle of interests over development in Gangnam, Seoul. In the process, he lives with Gil-Soo (Jung Jin-Young) and Sun-Hye (Seol Hyun) as they accept Jong-Dae like a family member. Jong-Dae also becomes a gang member.

When Chul-Ki was young his family was killed. Now as an adult, Chul-Ki is released from prison after serving 12 years. His plan for revenge is set to begin ... 

Jin Ah is the former leader of idol group Purple, one of the first generation of girl groups in South Korea and also the most popular at that time. She now hosts the radio program "Wonderful Radio," but the program suffers from low ratings. The show's producer then takes time off to give birth. Her replacement is Lee Jae Hyeok. Jin Ah is late for her first meeting with PD Lee Jae Hyeok. Because of this, PD Lee Jae Hyeok gets an unfavorable impression of Jin Ah and their relationship soon turns worse. During the meeting, PD Lee Jae Hyeok instructs the staff to create a new section for the radio program to increase ratings.

By the 1970's he became the most powerful man in the underground economy. Yoo In-Hye's family is now one of the richest families.

Lee Jung-Yeon (Lee Min-Jung) dated Do-Hyun for 6 years and they will get married soon. Whenever she thinks about Do-Hyun, she can't stop smiling. During her middle and high school years Jung-Yeon was a quiet student with ordinary scores, but Do-Hyun appeared in front of her and they began a relationship. She is certain that Do-Hyun loves her. Jung-Yeon also has one thing that Do-Hyun does not have. That is a family.

2 months after their wedding, Yeon Yi's (Yoon Jin Seo) husband Jin Woo (Yoo Ji Tae)gets into an accident and falls into a coma. During this time, Yeon Yi's life shatters from the seams. In a corner of the neigborhood electronic game room sits Kang-jae (Choi Min-Sik), the man bumming around with a cigarette butt in his mouth. An incident inadvertently forces Kang-jae to sign a life-risking contract with the boss of a major gang, a difficult decision but one that Kang-jae believed would help him return home triumphantly. Then out of the blue, he receives a letter.

"Kang-jae...thank you for everything. With your help, I've been able to continue working in Korea. Everyone here is so kind. But you are the kindest of them all. Because you have married me..."

After a brief moment of confusion, Kang-jae remembers the time when he went through a fake marriage for a few bucks. The warmth Kang-jae was feeling from the letter takes him into unfamiliar territory...

Four guys, with nothing better to do, decide to rob a gas station. When they find out there isn't as much money as they expected, they lock up the employees and take over to make more money. They don't know how to run the gas pumps, and when the customers complain, the guys take them hostage. Everything is more or less under a chaotic kind of control until they order Chinese food and make the mistake of harassing the delivery boy. He rounds up a bunch of other delivery boys to attack the gas station. Another confrontation with a high school gang and the local mafia provokes a bigger fight. Finally, the police arrive for the final showdown.

Dae-Gyu is a working man, living a stress free dating life until one day a young boy claiming to be his son pays him an unexpected visit. After much wavering and struggle to make his son go away, Dae-Gyu makes a compromise to go on a road trip after which he would return the boy to his mother.
