Jung Yup tries to find a job as a lawyer for a law firm in Seoul. It's not so easy for him, with Jung Yup being from a smaller city. In the meantime, he begins work at a child welfare center in his hometown. He goes with a co-worker from the child welfare center to the police station and meets 10-year-old Da Bin. The young girl reported to the police that her stepmother Ji Sook choked her around her neck, but there isn't anything Jung Yup is able to do. Da Bin is returned to her family. Da Bin and her 7-year-old brother Min Joon begin visiting Jung Yup at the child welfare center daily. He makes an effort to spend time with them to keep his job. Jung Yup is aware that the children are abused by their stepmother, but he is powerless to do anything about it.
Jung Yup then learns that he has been hired by a law firm in Seoul. Without saying goodbye to Da Bin and Ji Sook, he heads off to Seoul. One day, he receives a phone call that Da Bin has killed her younger brother Min Joon.
Persona is a an anthology series containing 4 different parts. Each part directed by different directors tells separate stories starring IU as the lead.
"Love Set", directed by Lee Kyung Mi, follows an intense tennis match between IU and Doo Na. The stakes of the match are high for both women.
"Collector", directed by Im Pil Sung, tells the story of an alluring woman, Eun, who loves to seduce men and a man willing to do anything for her love.
"Kiss Burn", directed by Jeon Go Woon, depicts the many attempts at revenge made by two school girls, Han Na and Hye Bok, on Hye Bok's unreasonable father.
Shot in black and white, "Walking at Night", directed by Kim Jong Kwan, recounts the sorrowful story of two former lovers who go for a walk in the man's dream, reminiscing on their love and saying things they do not have the chance to in real life.
Hye Won gets tired of her difficult life in the city and moves back to her hometown in the countryside. There, she heals her emotional wounds with the help of her long-time friends, nature and food.

The conversation seems likely to end any second, but suddenly his true feelings touch her momentarily and a brief smile crosses her face. "The Table" follows a conversation between two people in a cafe.
The first episode shows about a conversation between an actress and her ex-boyfriend, the second is the meeting of a man and woman who go traveling together after a one-night stand, and the third episode is the story of a woman who meets the woman who will play her mother at her sham wedding. The final episode focuses on a woman about to marry, suggesting her ex-boyfriend will be seeing her right up to her wedding day. As all four episodes depend on the two characters' lines and facial expressions, audiences must imagine the situations from the clues available.
