Ah Jin, who is beautiful and has a nice figure, enjoys a splendidly luxurious life after marrying into a rich family. Through her wits and acuteness, she gains the trust of President Ahn, her father-in-law and the head of the house. While looking for a caregiver for her father-in-law who has a hard time moving around, Ah Jin finds Bok Ja and hires her. She thinks that the old-fashioned and plain but somewhat cultured Bok Ja seems to be a perfect fit for her family. However, Bok Ja doesn’t remain as a caregiver. This drama is about a family that lives on the outskirts of Seoul. Set in the 1960’s and 1970’s. Yoon Soo In (Oh Seung Ah) is a smart student who has never missed ranking at the top of her class. Due to her poor family situation, she begins to work at a factory instead of going to college. Nevertheless, she pursues her dream.

When Yoon Jung Won is betrayed by family and friends who she completely trusted, the realization that humans are cruel dawns upon her. This show revolves around an insurance planner who is framed for a crime that she did not commit and tries to find justice after serving out her sentence in prison. There is a message of hope in the story in that while pain is inflicted on her by people around her, she eventually finds comfort and assistance from new people she encounters later.

Lee Yong Gu is a mentally impaired father with the intellect of a six-year-old, who lives in a run-down house along with his daughter of the same age, Ye Seung. One day, he gets into a physical altercation with the police commissioner, who has just purchased the last Sailor Moon backpack for his daughter, a gift Yong Gu was saving up to buy for Ye Seung. Soon after, the police commissioner's daughter dies in a freak accident while she is taking Yong Gu to another store that sells the same backpack. When he tries to resuscitate her, a woman witnesses him and mistakes him to be molesting her. Yong Gu is falsely accused of the abduction, murder, and rape of a minor. The police quickly take advantage of his disability and force him to admit to committing the crimes, while ignoring exonerating evidence. Yong Gu is imprisoned and assigned to Cell No. 7, the harshest cell in a maximum security prison.

Meanwhile, the architect decorator Cho-in Choi that is dating Sun-jae, researches and discloses that the mystery is related to a picture of 1944. His further investigation unravels the tragic fate of the original owner of the shoes.
