Afterward, Masaki is transferred to the Personnel Department 1 of the Inspection Division. He still suffers from the death of his colleague. The other workers around Masaki are hostile to him. One day, a letter reaches the personnel department. The letter claims that Detective Minaguchi Nako leaks secret information. Detective Nako used to work with Masaki Investigation Team 1. Masaki begins to investigate the claim in the letter. His investigation leads him to the unsolved case of the death of his colleague.

Cold case investigation team, including Kento Saegusa and team leader Misaki Sakurai, have doubts about the case. Meanwhile, in 2009, administrative officers die consecutively in car accidents. The police announce these deaths as accidents. Takeshi Ōyama believes that these deaths were not the product of simple accidents. At 11:23 pm, a walkie-talkie turns on and makes a connection between the future and past. Kento Saegusa and Takeshi Ōyama face the threat of bioterrorism.

The story begins shortly after the finale episode of the 2018 drama, and then moves to 2020, two years later.

Daichi goes to the hospital where Hana is staying and meets her for the first time. Daichi takes a blood test and learns that he is match with Hana. A bone marrow transplant surgery is scheduled to take place in two weeks, but a conspiracy causes Daichi to get arrested for a murder.

Kenjiro Namikoshi is the chief of the criminal investigation section at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. He leads the investigation into the group. Kenjiro Namikoshi thinks of Kogoro Akechi who holds vast knowledge on hacking and leads BD team hacker group. To ask him for advisor help on the investigation, Kenjiro Namikoshi sends Yoshio Kobayashi.

Season 2 of this drama starts off with Machi being married to Dai Yashiro, while Kenji Rusudo is a rival real estate agent.

A story-a-week episodic medical mystery that treats the theme of reality changing when faced with imminent death. Keita Orimo (Atsushi Ito) works at an apparel company and is on the layoff list. He is divorced and has a 9-year-old daughter. Keita Orimo is also a bit old-school and carries a flip phone. One day, Keita Orimo's brain suddenly becomes like a smartphone. He can see text balloons flying by and he can even see messages for other people. His smartphone like brain leads him to get involved with trouble at his workplace.

Michima Shin is a 30-years-old lonely and unpopular novelist who lives alone in a big house. Shin's father is a convicted murderer, awaiting capital punishment, who killed 3 people, including his wife, Shin's mother.

One day, five mysterious women showed up at Shin's house saying that they received an invitation to live with him in exchange of paying 1 million yen a month in rent. They set up rules for Shin such as no asking questions and no entering the women's rooms.

The treasure of the company Teikoku Shinju, a natural pearl called the ‘Golden Star’ is stolen. The ‘Golden Star’ is said to be expensive enough to buy a New York skyscraper. The theft is made public and Teikoku Shinju’s share price plunges. This incident triggers an internal struggle between the company’s chairman Iwakura Jusaburo (Nishida Toshiyuki) and president Iwakura Tsuneko (Zaizen Naomi) for the company president’s position. Tsuneko, the daughter of Teikoku Shinju’s founder and Jusaburo’s stepsister, is forced to take responsibility and step down. Learning about the fmaily’s infighting from media reports, Sawaguchi Nobuko (Yonekura Ryoko) hides her beauty with black glasses and loose, disheveled hair, and goes into the home as a housekeeper. She has a specific objective to fulfil at the Iwakura household. Nobuko had gone to see the ‘Golden Star’, which was displayed in a department store, and encountered an enigmatic man (Yokota Eiji) who suddenly appeared in front of her. The man seemed to have a connection to the ‘Golden Pearl’ and the Iwakura family. He had encouraged her to try wearing the pearl like the ‘Girl with a Pearl Earring’ painted by Vemeer. As customers and news reporters swarmed around them, Nobuko had fled the place without thinking. But in doing so, the precious pearl earring was lost. According to store personnel, that man had taken it out. Nobuko’s intuition tells her that the man is involved in the theft of the ‘Golden Star’ and she guesses he will show up at the Iwakura home some day. There is a portrait in the Iwakura home of a man who resembles him as if in confirmation of her conjecture. What is this man’s true identity? After that, the more the battle between the chairman and company president heats up, the more the share price of Teikoku Shinju continues to mysteriously rise. Why did the pearl disappear? Nobuko who has peeked at the secrets and conspiracies in the mansion, takes action … …

One day, the current prime minister of Japan, Muto Taizan, and his useless son, Sho, suddenly discover that they have switched bodies.

With no known cause or solution at hand, Sho reluctantly ends up appearing in the Diet on his father’s behalf. But he completely cannot follow the deliberations as well as the questions and answers because it has been his routine to skip his studies. He is also repeatedly caught making childish responses or misreading kanji in documents. However, untainted by the adult world, Sho’s straightforward opinions and genuine feelings start to mobilise the Diet and the public.

On the other hand, Taizan has to lead the life of a university student and search for a job on behalf of his son, but with the brains of a prime minister. He refutes arrogant interviewers with his overwhelming knowledge and debating skills. Although Taizan wins the war of words, he is an absolute failure in the interviews itself. Furthermore, several peculiar girls whom Sho has had relationships with appear and makes Taizan more bewildered.

The credit hogging police officer Yabe Kenzo in Trick now takes center stage. He saves the Japanese public from various evil doers not with his wit or his bravery, but with sheer stupid luck.

A thief who calls himself Blue Oracle stole into the jewllery shop which Daidoji Fumino runs, and got away with diamonds worth some 60 million yen. The criminal had sent a cryptic warning beforehand, but the police deemed it a prank. There is criticism from the public because they did not undertake an investigation. Meanwhile, the inauguration ceremony for the new police commissioner Mitarai Chikao is being held at a hotel in Tokyo. Yabe Kenzo and Akiba Barando have been roped in to provide security, but they ignore their mission and are their usual carefree selves. Then, in an unexpected turn of events, Yabe makes the acquaintance of the police commissioner’s daughter Miki who has come to the party. A talented girl who has topped the national elementary students exam for the second consecutive year, Miki brilliantly solves the riddle in a new warning addressed to the police commissioner. That night, Yabe who mistakenly thinks that he has been entrusted with the Blue Oracle investigation by the commissioner, elatedly holds a press conference and makes a great show of declaring war on the criminal. Rising to the challenge, the criminal sends another new warning to the police. Yabe is held responsible for instigating a new crime with actions that were uncalled for, and ends up in hot water. On the other hand, with the police’s reputation on the line, they try to break the code, but do not know the answer and the investigation ends up stalled. Yabe, who is being forced to hand in his resignation for his recklessness, thinks of making use of Miki and goes to see her. Kusakabe Gengo, a patrol officer of the Tsukigase domain in Western Japan, gets a visit from his son-in-law, Tsuda Iori. Tsuda probes if it is true that Gengo and the chief retainer, Matsuura Shogen, are truly childhood friends. Gengo and Shogen were childhood friends and went to the same kendo training school. 40 years ago, the two men were bound by such a firm friendship that they avenged Shogen’s parents together. However, they had differing opinions regarding an uprising raised by a mutual friend, Juzo, and fell out 20 years earlier. Gengo is handed a command from the lord of the domain to assassinate Shogen. Shogen, who quelled the uprising with ruthless methods, rose to become the chief retainer, but the rumours are that he has incurred displeasure because he is hindering the rise of the lord of the domain. However, Shogen is known to the public as an artist so it would look bad if he were publicly executed. Gengo, who has been ordered to handle it as a fight due to a personal grudge, searches for the place for Shogen to die. He decides to visit Shogen for the first time in 20 years. When the paths of the two men cross again as they approach old age, fate starts moving again.

Tsukiyama Kayo is an editor of a fashion magazine. Contrary to the glamorous image of the fashion industry, Kayo always ends up doing work dumped on her by her younger colleagues. For the fifth year in a row, she is spending her birthday alone at the office. One day, chief editor, Kawamura Ryoko says that the fashion magazine Kayo is in charge of will be suspended. She is thus transferred to the editorial desk of a comic book for girls, a genre that she is not interested in at all. Kayo will be in charge of Hanazono Yuriko, an extremely popular manga artist. When she arrives at Hanazono Yuriko's luxurious apartment to pick up the newest manuscript, Kayo meets Tanaka Ichiro, the veteran editor of a rival publisher. He has been working with girls' comics for 20 years. In the backroom are two men, supposedly assistants. Out of the blue, they order Kayo to go buy a girl's dress. They need it for the image-building of the comic's character. As a rookie editor, Kayo is in no position to talk back. Thus, Kayo goes to town in search of the perfect dress. But when she tries a dress on, she jams the zipper. Unable to take it off, she is forced to leave the shop and walk around the city in an extravagant outfit. When Kayo finally returns to the apartment, the men order her to prepare a meal. She can't take it any more and yells, “I'm here to see Hanazono Yuriko!” “We're Hanazono Yuriko.” Kayo turns around to see the men who have been pushing her around. She is shocked to learn that Hanazono Yuriko is actually consists of four brothers, Wataru, Osamu, Satoshi, and Hinata. They warn Kayo to never let this secret become known. Kayo is still in shock, but right now, her priority is to get the manuscript due tomorrow morning. She begs the brothers to rush, but they say “not tonight” and leave the apartment.

Saburo, an ordinary high school student, travels back in time to the Sengoku era (1549). He encounters a young lord who looks exactly like him and is told, “Be my substitute. I’m the eldest son of the Oda family, Oda Nobunaga.” After the young lord leaves, Saburo is mistaken for Nobunaga by a vassal and taken to the castle. He starts to live as Oda Nobunaga from this day. The young samurai of the Oda family, which is merely a minor feudal lord, set out towards the extraordinary dream of unifying the whole country through the power of Saburo.

Saburo, a person from modern times who has no experience killing people, does not understand the willingness of the warlords of the Sengoku era to lay down their lives for their family. It is the same for the vassals too. They have had a hard time understanding Nobunaga’s actions ever since the ill-mannered, wilful Saburo took over. Despite this “generation gap across space and time”, they are soon on the brink of achieving their dream.

When Kibou Minase wakes up, she finds herself wearing a sailor suit and lying in a white room. She is in a spaceship. Planet Earth was hit by a meteorite and all living creates perished except for 11 people who were saved by an alien. Those saved include a man who claims to be part of the Earth Defense Force, a pilot who can't speak, a pregnant woman and elementary school student. Those left are faced with the choice of living with aliens in a faraway place or escape the spaceship and build a new city on Earth.

Naoko Yamada a a self-proclaimed “super magician” repeatedly finds herself enlisted to help a self-proclaimed “genius physicist” and skeptic named Jiro Ueda as he attempts to expose fraudulent spiritualists and others who seem to have mysterious powers.

Certain circumstances have made 25-year-old Suzumiya Miki desire secure employment. So, she became a public servant. However, her job is the most detested in the world. It is that of a national tax collector who collects taxes from those who default on payments. The special national tax collectors handle the worst of these cases.

Miki is assigned to the Tokyo Regional Taxation Bureau’s Tax Office as a new tax officer under her superior, Kagami Masachika, a special national tax collector whose coldheartedness has no equal and is called “god of death” by the people around him. Miki thus runs about each day as Kagami’s assistant to collect taxes from tax defaulters.
