After school, Sena Kadowaki (Miori Ichikawa) goes up to the school rooftop to return a handkerchief to Yudachi Tsutsui (Ririka). While waiting for Yudachi , Sena falls asleep.

When Sena wakes up, she finds that it is now dark and she is locked up at her school. Her cellphone is not working. A light turns on and the world is dyed red. Girls begins to fight with each other and even kill each other. Can Sena survive?

Majisuka High is an all-girls school that is full of delinquents and is constructed of dysfunctional classrooms that have no discipline whatsoever. Being the strongest in fist-fights is indeed the social currency at this deteriorating school. The leader of the Rappapa pack is Salt; she reins as the queen of the chaotic hierarchy. But one day, a new student, Sakura is transferred to Majisuka High with an aim to overthrow Salt and take over the school. On first glance, she looks like a student who would make the honor roll, vulnerable, and easily beatable. The story takes place in Prison HOPE, year 20xx. With the reform of Juvenile Law, private juvenile prisons were born. Dangerous delinquent young girls, abandoned by society, school, and even their family are gathered in a place where the detention period is unlimited. The battle ring where only the fittest survived, therefore it is also called Majisuka Prison.

The story revolves around the 38-year-old Usa Shijimi (Watanabe), who is a high school classical literature teacher. Her students are mean to her, but they don’t realize that she has another identity. Outside school, she lies about her age to be active as the super popular 17-year-old idol Watanabe Mayu, whom the students adore.

The story continues in the next school year after the events of the last season. The new members of Rappappa now face a even greater threat from within their own school and the surrounding schools.
