Instead of directing his soft porn movie, In-gi talks heatedly about the film scenario he is working on. He had to abandon his dreams of becoming a serious director in order to pay off his parents' debts. So to make quick money, he began to direct soft porn movies. But his dream of making a masterpiece has not died yet. He visits an old college buddy who is now a film producer. There he meets another college friend, Myung-joon, who is now a famous director. Through Myung-joon, In-gi is introduced to the love of his life, Yeo-kyung, a struggling screenwriter. From this day onward, In-gi delights in finding the things they have in common --- from their affinity to banana-flavored milk and forgotten comic book characters. In-gi is fueled by his love for Yeo-kyung to make a masterpiece. Yeo-kyung is also emboldened by In-gi's affections and decides to become a true writer. They begin to collaborate on a story about the love between a circus clown and the daughter of the circus troupe director. Their characters begin to come to life and a true masterpiece is in the making.

Life and love for young people living in the 90's with their dreams heading towards the millenium. Yet their dreams are not lofty aspirations but realisable ordinary ones that each of us embrace in our hearts. The main character Hyun-Woo, a boyish and outgoing young man is a computer mechanic who is dilligent at work and loves to do all kinds of sports. Deep in his heart he has never forgotten his first love, Chae-Hee who is now engaged to his highschool senior. Thus, he never quite pays attention to the cute Won-Young working in the same office. Won-Young promises herself not give up her dreams - love for Hyun-Woo and her ambition to eventually become an announcer on TV. In times of lonliness and anger she climbs up to the rooftop of her office building and shouts on the top of her voice. This is a drama viewing young people's lifestyle, goals in life and their innocence and purity in love.
