Haruka is a rookie physical therapist at an inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Japan. Just after her boyfriend suddenly dumps her, it's set that the very first patient she'll be in charge of through his hospitalization is Mr. Tsuge, who is paralyzed on his left side from a stroke. On the first day of rehabilitation, Tsuge asks Haruka, "Can I go back to my old life?" but she cannot answer. Under the mentorship of Department Chief, she begins to realize how rewarding the job can be and decides to confront both Tsuge and her ex-boyfriend.

Arimura Kasumi suddenly gets a break from filming and returns to her hometown for the first time in a long while. Her mother Yumiko comes to the train station to pick her up and they head for the family home. She is idly chatting with her mother at home when a male stranger comes to visit. His name is Ueshima Makoto. He puts his hands together in front of Kasumi’s father’s tablet. Then her mother asks him to repair a bicycle. At Yumiko’s invitation, the three of them have dinner together.

Satoko is a high school student. She has a caring family and close friends. Her life seems comfortable, but she has an eating disorder. Satoko's anxiety gets worse as well. Because of this, Satoko's relationship with her family and friends becomes strained. One day, Satoko meets a woman, Maki, on the street and gets close to her.
