Nagging Parents - Back in the Day is an observational reality show that features parents and their children working in the same field. The camera follows the parents and the kids and offers the parent-child relationship that is usually heartwarming but sometimes full of tension. The parents show off their pride in the children and worry about kids' future and happiness, while children get candid about feeling secure and pressured as 'the second generation.'

But that’s when we also get to see the differences between Yung Cheng and Lui Sei Leong. Being emperor, Yung Cheng chooses to observe his surroundings and is calm and composed albeit a little apprehensive. Lui Sei Leong, on the other hand, having been brought up with only one thing in mind, is bent on assassinating the emperor and reviving the Ming. She doesn’t care where or what time period she’s in! This, of course, results in a series of hilarious incidents involving the both of them. Yung Cheng assumes the identity of a Lee Tai Ha and is taken in by his uncle and family, while Lui Sei Leong joins a martial arts performing troupe.

At the time of her death, she held a lily of the valley flower in her hand. A rumor spreads that somebody in the literature club killed Itsumi. Itsumi was the president of the literature club. A friend of Itsumi, Sayuri, is now the president and she holds a regular club meeting, reading stories written by members. The theme of the meeting is “Shiraishi Itsumi’s death”.

In the first film, the comic-foil reins were handled by Xu Da-fu (mainland comedian Huang Bo, also starring in the current comedy hit “Breakup Buddies”), a benign crook whose friendship with Wu was firmly if secretly cemented by the time “The Dawn of Assault” reached its endgame.
