Haruka is a fisherman's daughter, who lost her home and many friends in the Tohoku earthquake. After a year living in a temporary housing, she did not want to return back to her hometown and went to Tokyo where she got captivated by a lighting store. Haruka later works at the store and decides to help the customers to find their own light in life. At the same time, Haruka slowly overcomes her emotional wounds and finds her own light.

A drama based on a true story about a girl who traces her father's life as a Japanese orphan in China after being separated from his family after WWII. Kido Hisae, decides to study in China where she discovers her father's painful experience and the love of his foster mother. She gets to know her father's foster family and learns the importance of human bond regardless of nationality and generation.

Haruka lost her mother at a young age. While her mother was still alive, she received a hand mirror from her. After her mother's death, she forgot about the mirror and eventually lost it. One day, she decides to go to a local shrine and pray for the hand mirror to be returned to her. It is there that she accidentally encounters a small masked creature which she secretly follows to the land of forgotten items.
