"Sinkhole" is about what happens when a newly built villa falls into a sinkhole with its residents trapped inside. The residents’ families and emergency services attempt to save them. The main character, Park Dong Won is a man who finally buys his home after 11 years, only to have it fall into a sinkhole within a minute. Along with Dong Won, there's also Kim Seung Hyun, who ends up getting stuck in the sinkhole with him, who is his supervisor at work.

With them is also the Chungwoon Villa resident, Jung Man Soo, who works multiple part-time jobs to raise his son as a single dad.

A drama that draws the love of Ki Woon Chan, a high school-graduate struggling to find a job and Na Moo Goong Hwa, the only daughter of an amazingly rich family and the conflicts and reconciliation of their families.

The drama follows the life a woman who ends up losing everything after living a turbulent life. When she starts anew from the bottom, ironically, her life blossoms. The value that holds us together is not blood nor law, but rather love and affection between us.

Set at a psychiatric hospital. Soo-Myung (Yeo Jin-Goo) has suffered from schizophrenia due to his guilt that he suffers from his mother's suicide. He meets Seung-Min (Lee Min-Ki) at the psychiatric hospital. Seung-Min has been forcibly hospitalized because of his wealthy family's inheritance fight. Dreaming of getting out of the hospital, Seung-Min constantly tries to escape. Soo-Myung begins to follow Seung-Min.

In-Soo (Kang Ha-Neul) has a special gift to see ghosts and has become isolated from other students because of this. He transfers to a high school in a rural area outside of Seoul. There, In-Soo meets a female ghost (Kim So-Eun) at the high school and forms a friendship with her. Meanwhile, classmates disappear one by one.

Ah Da Mo takes business administration training at his father's company. He does not get along with his father, who only shows affection towards their pet dog. Da Mo is cocky and tends to look down on women. When he meets Sa Ran by chance, their relationship begins.

Jung Ha Yoon is a graduate from law school who successfully passed the bar exam. In order to become a prosecutor specialised in the medical field malpractice litigations, she came to the Song Eui General Hospital as a 1st year intern. She works at a hospital to have a better perspectives to experience what the other side is all about and gain experience. At first she has no intention to be in the medical profession.

Jo Dong Hyuk will be playing a 27 year old single with a six year old son who falls for Choo Sang Mi, a thirty-three year old divorcee. Her husband cheated on her and she suffers from the pain of losing their son in a car accident 3 years ago. This drama is about how the two meet and through a child they heal each other wounds.
