As a child, Jin Ok witnessed the murder of her father and narrowly escaped death. She is taken under the wings of Moo Myung, the man who saved her life, and trains in martial arts alongside two other girls. 10 years have passed and the girls are now Joseon's best bounty hunters. One day, Jin Ok is asked to take on a case for a handsome reward. Against their master's wishes, the trio takes on the job, not knowing it would eventually lead them to the man responsible for the death of Jin Ok's father 10 years ago.

A drama set in 1940s during the Japanese occupation years, it will tell about the love, conflicts, harmony, and victory that youths experience with basketball as their light and hope under Japanese colonial rule up till when the country was divided into two after gaining independence. The story will center around Kang San who grew up poor in a tiny village and finds success through basketball; he makes it all the way to the historic 1948 Olympic team that advanced to the quarterfinal round in Korea’s first and last single national team before the peninsula divided into North and South.

Oh Seo, who was abandoned by his mother as a child and was raised by Park Jin Sung's family, is a notorious gambler in Cheongdam neighborhood. He is heartbroken and doesn't care about anybody following the death of his first love.

One day, his friend, who has the same name, dies unexpectedly and Seo is thrown in prison. A year later, Seo meets lawyer Jang Sung, who came looking for the deceased Oh Seo, the heir of PL Group. Seo uses this opportunity to con the last remaining heir of the PL Group, Oh Young, to pay his debt when gangster Jo Moo Cheol gives him 3 months to pay or he dies. However, Seo starts falling in love with the blind Oh Young, while pretending to be her deceased brother who was separated from her after their parent's divorce.

Born to a poor family, Kang Chil spends 16 years in prison after being wrongly convicted of a crime. Before his release, he kills a prison guard by accident and is sentenced to execution. In the last moment of his life, he is presented with the opportunity to return to the past and change his decisions. One of his friends in prison, Guk Soo, claims to be his guardian angel. He says that two more miracles will happen to Kang Chil, and that he should not forget the lessons that they teach.

After being released, Kang Chil meets Jina, a spirited veterinarian. Sensing the suffering in each other’s past, they fall in love with each other. But the moment of bliss is brief, as Kang Chil realizes that the victim of the murder 16 years ago was Jina’s uncle. At the same time, the one that framed him continuously threatens his life. In the face of danger, time turns back once more. And so, Kang Chil realizes that as bleak as his life may have seemed, there were people who had made sacrifices for him. He comes to realize that no matter what his situation is, the time he spent with those people was all a miracle.

Jumong was the founder of Goguryeo in 37 BC. He was the son of General Hae Mo Su and Lady Yoo Hwa, and was raised by King Geum Wa who took him and his mother in when Hae Mo Su was believed to have been killed in an ambush by the Han Dynasty. So Seo No was a merchant's daughter who helped Jumong in realizing his dream to build a new country, and later became his second wife.
