Shen is the CEO of Eachway fashion house and is in a relationship with Juliet a model which is not favored by his mother. Liu Qing is an assistant fashion designer working under XiaoXiang. She takes the place of Juliet in fashion show with the help of Nanqing, a wannabe designer and daughter of Eachway's cleaning lady. Shen starts to interact with Nanqing after the latter replaces her mother when she meets with an accident.When it was made known that shen needs to find a bride to marry from within the company within the next 3 months, the life of all these women starts to change.

When undercover agent Ding receives an encrypted message from Blackjack, who claims to be an undercover agent that has lost contact with the police, she reports it to her superior officer Inspector Q, who immediately launches a mission to search for Blackjack. While Inspector Q narrows down Blackjack's whereabouts, he learns of a finance group's involvement in a drug deal in Brazil which involves company chairman Kwok Ming, his advisor Lam, Lam's right-hand man Shiu and the supposedly dead triad leader Foon-hei, who is surprisingly alive and kicking, and is plotting a comeback to the crime world.

After recovering from a long term illness, semi-retired popular singer Wah Fong Ying realizes that she has lived an unfulfilled life. With two failed marriages and estranged relationships with all of her children she lives a lonely life. Wanting to mend her relationship with her oldest daughter who resides in Taiwan, she travels there and meets Hong Kong photographer Ben Law, who is a fan of her. Ben is in Taiwan to fulfill his late wife's wish to have her remains returned to her ancestral home. Romance sparks between the two and soon each becomes the other's strength and support. Realizing that throughout her career she has never sung for her loved ones and with Ben's encouragement, Fong Ying decides to hold a last concert for her friends and family, but her daughter Tong Yan rejects her invitation to attend. Fong Ying proceeds on working on her concert and hires assistant Jinny Szeto and creative director Sean Song to help her produce the concert. Just as light seems to shine on Fong Ying again, darkness comes back into her life when Jinny finds out that Fong Ying was involve in an affair with her uncle in the past and Ben starts to suffer from hallucinations due to a brain tumor.

Sophisticated banker CHEUK YAT YUEN (Ray Lui) mistakes con artist SA FU LOI (Gallen Lo) for his half brother CHEUK YAT MING, fortuitously elevating the swindler to one of the leading figures in the banking industry. The lost and found brotherhood has blinded YUEN to FU's real nature and intentions.

YUEN is kidnapped overseas by a group of rioters. He undergoes a dramatic personality change after the incident. YUEN's wife HO TSEUK NIN (Jamie Chik) has tried her best to console him but still cannot help him get over the unpleasant experience. Longing for more comfort and support, YUEN gets back with his ex-lover TUNG LING CHI (Kenix Kwok Ho Ying). NIN is heartbroken to learn about the affair and it has left the broken mirror that can't be mended.

The identity of CHEUK YAT MING gives FU not only a sense of family warmth but also a sweet taste of romance. He finds himself in love with YUEN's little sister CHEUK YAT SUM (Anita Yuen). SUM is attracted to FU too but thinking that they are true biological siblings, she decides to keep her love under wraps and stays with her long-term admirer KO TOK MAN (Joe Ma) instead. This comes as a huge blow to FU. He is not willing to lose his love, but neither can he reveal his real identity. Caught up in the dilemma between love and money, FU finally chooses the fortune road of no return.

It is all about a tough battle for money, a devious triangle of love, and a severe challenge to ethics.
