It tells a story about rescue team members responding to a major disaster due to an earthquake. A sudden earthquake has hit the entire Guancheng County Chemical Industrial Park to trigger pipeline leaks and explosions. Thick smoke billows amidst blazing fire as disaster rapidly escalates. If it is not contained, the entire city will soon be razed to the ground... Faced with the severe test of saving people as well as fighting the fire, all members of the fire rescue station mobilize immediately, rushing to the hardest-hit areas in a race against time.

During his journey, he meets and befriends several like-minded peers such as Bai Choufei, Wen Rou, Su Mengzhen and Lei Chun. In the complicated world of Jianghu, he gradually matures from a muddled youth into a hero of his generation.

A love story revolves around the 9th Princess of Western Liang as she journeys to the Central Plains to fulfill a marriage alliance with the Crown Prince.

It is also the story if how, step by step, Qu Yuan tries to save his country.

A spirited comedy that pokes fun at old-style Cantonese filmmaking and Wong Kar-Wai's 1990s art-house hits, but ever so gently. Dayo Wong plays a WK-W like director who is sent back 30 years and forced to make a movie under the conditions of the time. The film contains many refernces for film buffs, from Kwan Tak-Hing's cheesy "Wong Fei-Hung" series to the hilarious antics of "La Rose Noire". Review by Paul Thompson: You'll probably laugh, but you might not have gotten the object of satire by reading the subtitles, which is why I have provided this summary. I'm pretty sure Wong Jing was involved in this -- in fact one of the characters is Wong Jing as a young man. If you are a die hard Wong Kar Wai fan, you will laugh when you watch this film. "Those Were the days" speculates on what would happen if a hot international art house director (a.k.a. WKW) were transported back in time to the 1960s Hong Kong film industry. Highlights include: WKW meets Wong Jing as a child and profoundly influences career; WKW attempts to make his kind of films with the resources, talent, and expectations of 1960s HK filmmakers, and a lot of other Hong Kong /Wong Jing style zaniness.

Chow Chi Yu runs a pound. Her whole family knows a lot about the animals and loves to take care of them. One day, she brings home a dog that was abandoned on the street. Unfortunately, the dog is ill and infects the other dogs in the pound, almost destroying her business. At the same time she meets Miu Jun, the man whom she realizes had left the sickly dog on the street. Of course this makes her despise him and so the two of them are always fighting with each other.

Sophisticated banker CHEUK YAT YUEN (Ray Lui) mistakes con artist SA FU LOI (Gallen Lo) for his half brother CHEUK YAT MING, fortuitously elevating the swindler to one of the leading figures in the banking industry. The lost and found brotherhood has blinded YUEN to FU's real nature and intentions.

YUEN is kidnapped overseas by a group of rioters. He undergoes a dramatic personality change after the incident. YUEN's wife HO TSEUK NIN (Jamie Chik) has tried her best to console him but still cannot help him get over the unpleasant experience. Longing for more comfort and support, YUEN gets back with his ex-lover TUNG LING CHI (Kenix Kwok Ho Ying). NIN is heartbroken to learn about the affair and it has left the broken mirror that can't be mended.

The identity of CHEUK YAT MING gives FU not only a sense of family warmth but also a sweet taste of romance. He finds himself in love with YUEN's little sister CHEUK YAT SUM (Anita Yuen). SUM is attracted to FU too but thinking that they are true biological siblings, she decides to keep her love under wraps and stays with her long-term admirer KO TOK MAN (Joe Ma) instead. This comes as a huge blow to FU. He is not willing to lose his love, but neither can he reveal his real identity. Caught up in the dilemma between love and money, FU finally chooses the fortune road of no return.

It is all about a tough battle for money, a devious triangle of love, and a severe challenge to ethics.

1997 Drama, Hong Kong's take on "The X Files".

With Gallen Lo, Felix Wong, Sunny Chan, Nick Cheung, Amy Kwok, Kathy Chow, Ada Choi, Jessica Hsuan, Paul Chun, Suet Nei, and Melissa Ng onboard, the star-studded cast assembled for the TVB grand production Secret of the Heart is one that can hardly be surpassed. Producer Jonathan Chik (Cold Blood Warm Heart, At the Threshold of an Era) is known for his sophisticatedly crafted family infighting sagas, and the 62-episode drama has rightfully been considered one of the best of its kind thanks to its gripping narrative and attractive actors. Secret of the Heart swept the 1998 TVB Anniversary Awards with Gallen Lo and Ada Choi crowned My Favorite Actor and Actress, respectively, and Nick Cheung winning Best Improvement Award. It also dominated the viewership ratings during its initial run; in fact, even the recent late-night re-run on TVB still posted impressive ratings. Kam Leung Wan (Nick Cheung) grew up as the only son to airline magnate Kam Shu Pui (Paul Chun). But when it is revealed that his best friend Ching Ka Hung (Sunny Chan) is actually his half-brother and Pui's real son, Wan would stop at nothing to keep hold of what he has got, even if that means getting rid of Hung and anyone that stands in his way... The series composed of two parts, with a gap in between the airing.The entire series took place in a continuing flashback, with one of the main characters pondering the trials and tribulations he went through while riding on a train in the "green city" he developed.The drama documents the rise and fall of three entrepreneurs, who founded Lik Tien Century Construction (????) together to achieve the ultimate goal of developing a pollution-free city in Hong Kong.
