The play tells the story of the modern mother Kang Ya Yu and her husband who have a two-year-old daughter. They constantly overcome the contradictions and difficulties in parenting life, and finally complete the transformation of the role in learning and growing up, and become competent parents.

The drama is told in three separate folklore stories about love, lust, vanity, greed and selfishness.

{Changing Pins} - Male and female fraternal twins fall in love with different men with the same appearance. The older male twin has an homosexual affair with a Prince of the Liao Kingdom, while the female twin falls in love with a poor scholar.

{Judge Lu} - A poor scholar has an affair with a courtesan that resembles his wife.

{Chasing Fish} - A scholar becomes the object of affection to a fish spirit and human girl with the face.

After recovering from a long term illness, semi-retired popular singer Wah Fong Ying realizes that she has lived an unfulfilled life. With two failed marriages and estranged relationships with all of her children she lives a lonely life. Wanting to mend her relationship with her oldest daughter who resides in Taiwan, she travels there and meets Hong Kong photographer Ben Law, who is a fan of her. Ben is in Taiwan to fulfill his late wife's wish to have her remains returned to her ancestral home. Romance sparks between the two and soon each becomes the other's strength and support. Realizing that throughout her career she has never sung for her loved ones and with Ben's encouragement, Fong Ying decides to hold a last concert for her friends and family, but her daughter Tong Yan rejects her invitation to attend. Fong Ying proceeds on working on her concert and hires assistant Jinny Szeto and creative director Sean Song to help her produce the concert. Just as light seems to shine on Fong Ying again, darkness comes back into her life when Jinny finds out that Fong Ying was involve in an affair with her uncle in the past and Ben starts to suffer from hallucinations due to a brain tumor.

To fulfill her late father's will, BIN KWAI WOR (Eliza Sam) opened a special coffee shop and met BAO CHI TAI (Bosco Wong), nicknamed "Tai Chi Bao" (Raisin Bread). TAI is a single father with an 8 year old son who has an ambition to become the Hong Kong coffee king. When TAI began learning the techniques of latte art from WOR, they started having feelings for each other, but unfortunately too many troubles were in between them. The most difficult was getting through WOR's two mothers, her biological mother MA SZE NGA (Michelle Yim) and her step-mother SO MEI (Nancy Wu). The mothers opposed to their relationship. Facing so many challenges in their relationship, how can TAI and WOR overcome the challenges and brew their love into an aromatic and strong cup of coffee? (aZnangel) 

A batch of fresh nursing school graduates are assigned to complete an internship at a hospital. Among the group, Kei Lok, Tang Lai Chin, and Yu Yuet Ngoi are assigned to what is known as the “hell ward”, managed by registered nurse Yeung Chi Ming. Chi Ming, also known as “Death Ray”, is famous in the hospital for his strange personality and mysterious background. In charge of training the interns assigned to the “hell ward”, Chi Ming is extremely competent and has a rich history of work experience. However, his odd behaviour drives away the majority of the hospital staff, who often avoid him at work. The courageous and kind-hearted Kei Lok is the only one who develops an inexplicable sense of curiosity towards Chi Ming. When she finally finds an opportunity to get to know him better, she realizes that he is harboring many secrets. Meanwhile, Chi Ming stirs several instances of intense discord between the interns. The group is faced with different challenges while simultaneously preparing for their final practical exam. Is “Death Ray” actually the angel or the devil? How will the interns escape from the monstrous grasp of their instructor while saving themselves and the lives of others?

After her mother was killed during a mission twenty years ago in Thailand, Fa (Eliza Sam) decides to join the police academy in Hong Kong were she meets 5 new friends played by Anita Chui, Cathryn Lee, Mandy Ho, Joyce Cheng and Jeana Ho. Failing to graduate the six women are given the opportunity to join a formerly disbanded all-female elite force to hunt down terrorist Gu Zhi Jin, the man who killed Fa's mother. The group of female agents led by a friend of Fa's mother go undercover in Malaysia.
