An assassin story that happens in an unrealistic world: Wayne Lai, who has the former nickname "Yama", has been reduced to a low-level assassin after a mishap caused his family to be ruined. His downfall led to the rise of the legendary assassin "Zero" (Moses Chan). However, their destinies are rewritten due to a wealthy Taiwanese man (Lam Lei)... Luckily, Wayne has a good friend, Elena Kong, who is a prostitute and acts as a bridge between Wayne and his daughter Louisa Mak. But Wayne is endlessly pestered by the troublesome female assassin Katy Kung. Moses opens a coffee shop as his cover and hires the single mother Ali Lee. He has a crush on a temple keeper whose identity is ambiguous (Samantha Ko). The "Assassin Hunter" appears and forces Wayne and Moses into a life or death confrontation.

The mentor-mentee pair of Sung Chung Gei and Kuang Gong Sang are widely lauded in the banking industry. However, to advance his career, Kuang Gong Sang purposefully transfers Sung Chung Gei to a foreign office. Unfortunately, Sung Chung Gei's plane crashes on the way there. It turns out that Lau Hang experienced the same fate of switching bodies. The two of them investigate how they can return to their own bodies. When Sung Chung Gei discovers that Bao Bao is actually the banker Lui Chan's illegitimate son, he and Lau Hang plan a revenge scheme. But it unexpectedly causes Kuang Gong Sang to fall from a building and suffer serious injuries. Sung Chung Gei finally realizes that he misunderstood Kuang Gong Sang. The three of them try to get close to Lui Chan and his family. Sung Chung Gei enters the bank and starts working from the bottom. Kuang Gong Sang ruins the engagement between Sheung Ho Yiu and his friend Koo Tin Nok. Lau Hang drives a wedge between Lui Chan's second daughter Sheung Ho Sau and her husband Ko Man Kin. As this cross-generation battle gradually spreads, it builds a unexpected new world...

Hau Tak Sze has recently inherited his late father's social club, besides managing the club he also works full-time as a court mediator. He meets Mo Sui Yee, who is in the process of divorcing her cheating ex-husband, during one of his cases. Sui Yee moves into her aunt Lam Ah Lui's home during her divorce, she soon finds out that her ex-husband's lover also lives in the same building as her aunt. Since Tak Sze visits the building frequently Sui Yee thinks both him and her ex-husband's lover are in cohorts together to try to gain her property from her divorce. Mo Sui Yee gets a job at Au Yeung Ai's law office, Tak Sze also visits the law office frequently because he is best friends with Yeung Ai. Through her boss and new job, Sui Yee learns that Tak Sze is truly a nice guy who works hard at his job.

This drama is loosely based on the life of Hong Kong entertainment mogul, Sir Run Run Shaw, founder of film company Shaw Brothers Studio and television company TVB.
