Veterinarian Tao You You once had a dream: She wanted to study to become a medic who could treat humans. Destiny intervenes once again, however: She crosses paths with Ke Mi, the president of the Luchuan Group veterinary pharmaceuticals firm. Over time, they strike up a secret business partnership. In December 1941, Japan expands the occupation of its neighboring countries to Southeast Asia.
