Sun Wukong the Monkey King, monk Tang Sanzang, humanoid pig Zhu Bajie and river demon Sha Wujing embark on a perilous journey to retrieve holy scriptures from the west, as an act of redemption for their past sins. On the way, they encounter a host of spirits, monsters and demons who threaten their lives and their unity.

The early years of legendary Tai Chi Master Zhang Jun Bao are vividly realized in this stirring 40-episode epic series. On the advice of a fortuneteller, the superstitious Zhang family sent their newborn son Bao to a Buddhist monastery. Bao subsequently became a superb martial artist by the time he turned 18. Troubled by the treacherous rebellion from the prime minister, Bao joined his fellow fighter Tian to rescue the righteous General Yue Fei from a deadly coup. Thus begins a series of daring adventures and martial arts challenges that will eventually lead to founding of the famous Wu Tang School.

The Palace is a movie version of Gong (?) but focusing on Chen Xiang and the 13th prince. It is once again a love based story and Yang Mi & Feng Shao Feng will also take part.During Kangxi's reign in the Qing Dynasty, Chen Xiang enters the palace and meets the maid Liu Li who is the same age as her. The two girls become fast friends. Liu Li desires to achieve something in life, and she wants to encounter the prince to become the future queen. Even if it means she has to betray and frame Chen Xiang. Yet as chance would have it, Chen Xiang falls in love with the 13th Prince and after many twists and turns, the two lovers can finally find their happiness together. (Written by Production Company)

The Monkey King: Quest for the Sutra (Chinese: 齊天大聖孫悟空) is a 2002 Hong Kong/Taiwanese TV series based on the classic Chinese novel: Journey to the West. It is also a remake of the 90's TVB version.

This is the second Monkey King that is portrayed by Dicky Cheung, the other one being "Journey to the West I" (1996). It is also the first Monkey King series that is not called "Journey to the West".

When Lok Yin (Alex Man) furthers his study in U.S.A., he is jailed for 7 years because of manslaughter. His girlfriend, Ching Jan (Idy Chan) then get married with his best friend, Ling Fung (Wilson Lam). After going back to Hong Kong, Yin determined to modernize hi family's department store business. But the luck is not at his side, first, his elder brother Lok Man (Hui Siu Hung) and sister-in-law (Ma Qing-yi) are killed in a traffic accident. Then his father is died because of heart attack.
